I am a chicken wing fanatic I travel all over and hunt down little small owned wing joints to try and find the best wing spots in town. This is definitely the best ive had in Wilmington. The caramelized sauces, the chicken was cooked perfect, the size was great. The wingz hit so hard! We had the Asian Cajun and the sweet and spicy chili. My only regret was not trying more flavors and other menu items. Id give it 6 stars if I could will most definitely be eating here again on my next trip. Much love and please keep doing what ur doing!
Now named Smokin' Jimmie's... 20 minutes ended up being 40 minutes. Hot wings and Garlic Parmesan were flavorless. Wings were tiny, tiny! They were burnt. Burnt, not smoky... burnt. Young lady at the window made it clear she was doing me a personal favor by even speaking to me. Tea tasted like sour beer. Philly steak egg roll was good, but it was greatly overshadowed by everything else. Pitiful experience.
The Sweet and Spicy wings were delicious! Totally worth it. Top notch customer service. The chili cheese fries could have used a bit more chili.
I ordered 12 wings (half parmesan garlic and half buffalo garlic) and onion rings. The wings were average. They were a decent size and the sauce had a lot of flavor. However, they weren’t crispy at all (I prefer that) and there was a little too much sauce. The onion rings were fantastic though. Very crispy and the batter was tasty. I would revisit to see if there is a more crispy option for their wings. Disclaimer: I almost ate all the onion rings before I remembered to take a picture.
I haven't gone here yet, but their responses to people's 'hot take' reviews are great! Hilarious. Made me laugh. Five stars. Service industry people deserve mad respect. It's hard dealing with the 10% of customers who are 'special'. I now plan on going soon.
