After much prayer and research, I sadly have to agree with two reviewers here that Ekklesia USA is a cult. Not only is this church cultish, it’s also a social club. At first, they make you feel great, but once you get involved you start to see how messed up and disorganized the place is. Ekklesia USA is a charismatic/Word of Faith church. If you don’t know what Word of Faith is, google or youtube it, and you’ll see how it’s not biblical. The church needs to repent of practicing charismatic/Word of Faith doctrine and viewing the Bible from their interpretation. Because of this, many have left the Christian faith and have been emotionally and spiritually damaged. I pray that one day Ekklesia USA acknowledges the truth and repents of their falseness. This is not to talk smack. This is to shine light onto the darkness so many can be saved (Ephesians 5:11).
Great Hispanic Christian Church with Christ centered teachings. Pastor Carlos Peñaloza is a man of God and a pillar in our community. I strongly recommend. 😎
Does anyone know the name of this church in the late 80s? They helped me when I was in great need. I would like to thank them.
My experience at Ekklesia-USA is that of an incredible atmosphere, where every type of sinner is welcome, and where the Word of God is preached from the pulpit. I also have to say that the worship service is one hour long with an incredible worship group that makes your experience one of true faith and inflowing of the Holy Spirit. Give it a try!! The services are in spanish, however, we have english translations...and after the last service...there's always a delicious food dish available.."el comi comi"... Hope to see you there...
