Worth every penny. Angel is absolutely EVERYTHING. You are paying for an unprecedented level of knowledge about hair, our hair specifically. Every type, every variety, every issue, everything you've ever tried or wanted. I've never ever met a more skilled stylist. Literally the only person I've ever trusted to just sit in their chair and say "I want something different" and let them wow me. When I wanted my hair dyed she picked out a perfectly flattering shade based on the commonalities of various photos of models I sent her. She KNOWS when a certain look won't work for you, and will tell you what will work. She helps you set long term hair goals. She gives guidance on maintenance. She usually has something good on TV while you're in her chair. She's honestly magic. 0 downsides. Worth everything. If you have to travel to see her, DO IT. She has changed my entire hair life! I have a simple, manageable, no-fuss routine now that delivers STUNNING results every single time. All thanks to Angel!
Angel is AWESOME!!! My curls have never looked this good. Her techniques were able to take my curls to another level. I love that she walked me through how to take care of my hair and why doing things a certain way will help me achieve the look that I’ve been wanting. I would like to emphasize that she helped me with a personal, tailored list of what my hair needs and not just a general set of items that’s given to everyone. Then my cut and color are on point. I’m so glad she walked me off the dye my hair black ledge lol. I’m excited to see how my hair turns out when I do it myself but that will wait a few more days. I booked the Elevated Curly Cut during Angel's spring tour in Toronto and i am in awe of the results!! I've been following Angel on Instagram for 2+ years and I was so excited to get an opportunity to sit in her chair. I felt confident in my wash and go skills but the tips and knowledge she blessed me with will allow me to "elevate" my styling to another level. My fabulous Cut and popping color have been garnering compliments left and right and my curls have never looked so juicy!!!! My day 5 hair looks just like day 1! Excited to implement the products suggested by Angel into my hair regimen and I can't wait to book my next appointment with her.
Angel is exceptional. Even though this is my first trip to the hair salon, Angel expertly diagnosed my severe hair woes and revived them from near death. While I wouldn't have had a problem chopping my hair off (her first suggestion), she decided to troubleshoot my hair a different way, which yielded the results I've always wanted but thought were impossible. I had to wash my hair about four days after styling due to exercise - while not exactly like how Angel styled it, I was able to get it pretty close. With the products and steps she curated just for me (no pun intended), I feel confident that I will be able to style my hair in the image I've always had in my head. As she says, "cookie cutter" products don't cut it - you truly need someone who has learned her craft to pinpoint what will work for you. I feel like I have a new lease on my life: I finally look how I feel and I don't have to waste money on trial and error products. Indeed, Angel elevated me! Angel is attentive, knowledgeable and compassionate. She is direct in a way that might intimidate others, but please trust that it is to put you on your way to making healthy hair choices that work for you. I am out of state but I will definitely return to Angel's salon and seek her counsel. Worth every penny. Tight curlies, don't sleep on Angel; she delivers.
Not to be dramatic, but I just wanted to come here and say that Angel truly changed the game for my hair. I was so lost before my first visit with her back in Nov 2021. I had been natural for 5 years before coming to her, and not one time before this visit did I feel like I knew what I was doing. I knew my hair had potential, I just didn't know how to deal with it. I have very thick and coarse hair and became very frustrated with the long hours it took do my hair. I was also lost behind misinformation and thinking that I could just do "what works for me". I always felt like I was a victim to whatever my hair wanted to look like that day. Turns out, dealing with my hair was actually so much simpler than I thought. After going to Angel, I finally saw what my hair could really do. I finally felt like I had control over my hair, and all around just felt so much more put together and grown up. I've been to Angel twice since my first appointment, and plan to keep going. Once a week, I wash and style my hair within an hour. During the week, I wrap my hair up at night, and in the morning, I shake and go. That's it. No extra "refreshing" or adding more product to my hair during the week. Knowing the right tools and techniques after going to Angel has made my life so much easier. What used to be a 6-7 hour wash and style day/routine is now only an hour. I no longer fear or put off washing my hair. My hair is a huge part of me and I feel so much more confident wearing my curls the way I have learned to after going to Angel. My hair has never been simultaneously so healthy and so long. I never usually write reviews but I just felt like I had to after this experience. I stalked the earnestlynatural instagram for months before actually deciding to go. I know there have to be other people out there that were just as lost as I was so I hope that my review can convince you to make an appointment, because it's so worth it! I am continually reaping the benefits of my first visit. So thank you, Angel!!
