Highly disappointed in the services I received here. I've spent THOUSANDS of dollars on dental procedures here and the quality of care is subpar. I'm experiencing complications with a dental procedure; when I mentioned the discomfort I was feeling, everyone seemed confused. I now have to receive care elsewhere... I feel as though Dasling is a money grab. I really wanted to enjoy my experience here, but I truly feel I wasted my money and time.
Absolute worst dentist I've ever been to. Save your time and look elsewhere. Dasling Dentistry has a policy where if you don't cancel the appt within 48 hours you are charged 75% of your service. I do understand that you all need to make your money.. but this is not the way to do it. People have lives, stuff happens! This was just something small I didn't agree with. My reasoning for the 1 star is because I made an appointment a few months back for a cleaning because I thought I'd come back. Since then I found a much more professional and caring dentist office (Dentistry at University) so I called and canceled my appointment. I called two weeks before my appointment to ensure that I was not charged. 5 days before the appointment date I get a text saying to confirm my appointment... the appointment I canceled last week. I had to call 5 times to get through and was brushed off by the desk receptionist so I asked to speak with a supervisor and I was treated with the same disrespect. She had a nasty attitude as soon as she answered, all I was asking her for was proof that my appointment was canceled because of their 75% policy and the fact that clearly my appointment wasn't canceled last time! She says "oh we'll send it when we can we're short staffed, you're removed from the schedule" as if I was supposed to just take her word for it. I was beyond upset at this point. I did receive a text a bit later stating my appointment was canceled but this should be mandatory, nobody should have to ask when you have a policy like this! Beware of this dentist office. Money hungry and disrespectful.
Please I advise anyone against going to this practice. It is because of this practice that I have lost hope for dentistry and am extremely anxious about any work I've received post my time at this office. The comments about the food trap are true (same thing happened to me). Please believe the negative comments. Last June I received my first root canal ever from Dr. Swain. Big mistake. 2 months post op I was experiencing sensitivity and pain. Instead of referring me to a specialist both Dr. Swain and Dr. Anderson said my bite was off and continued to work in my mouth. Fast forward to this year I wake up with a swollen gum over that tooth. It was at the 2nd advice of another dentist that I went to an endodontist for a root canal retreatment and a new dentist for the crown placement (both were better experiences than the first). Turns out a canal was missed and all of my decay plus a food trap was what had caused my pain. There is so much more I could say but I want to save everyone from experiencing the emotional, mental, and physical pain that I did from this office. This practice is not dasling at all.
Omg! Let me start by saying I have had the worst anxiety when it comes to the dentist my entire life. Everyone here is extremely accommodating, professional and efficient! They were very sensitive to the fact that I was anxious and took extra great care. I worked with Dr. Swain and Z so special shout-out to them! Love it here. Will be returning for all other dental work!
Updated review: I wanted to share that I just got my teeth cleaned today (8-15-2023) by Kristina and she rocked!! Great job. It may have been the most thorough cleaning yet and she has a gentle touch. Thank you and great job 💕 I have been going here for over ten years and have received nothing less than great service and professionalism. I highly recommend this office for your dental needs. Dr. Kim Anderson is the best!
