I found Angela by chance when searching for local wedding makeup artists and I am SO grateful that I did. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Angela is incredibly talented and professional but still warm and approachable. She also provided mother of the bride makeup for my mom (who rarely wears any makeup at all). Angela was so patient with all of her questions and my mom is now begging for private makeup lessons with her. Angela honestly felt more like family by the time she left the hotel suite!
Angela is the BEST! From our get-to-know-you phone call, to my bridal makeup trial, Angela was very friendly, took lots of notes, and listened to me when I was specific about the look I wanted. She was very thorough, and she sent a survey ahead of the trial to really understand my skin type, coloring of my skin, hair, and eyes, and what my problem areas are. She also asked for photos, and she used all of that info to set up lots of products that we went through ahead of time. She asked all the right questions, and she LISTENED TO ME. Did I say that already? LOL. What a great demeanor she has, and a studio filled with every product you can think of to give you the look you want. Coming from someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup normally, and whose fiancé likes a more natural look, I was scared that I might not like ANY makeup job, since it will be a pretty different experience for me to have bridal makeup on. But, at the end of my trial, I was ECSTATIC that Angela had listened to my specific tastes and wants, and gave me a gorgeous look. I can’t wait to replicate the look for the wedding! Hands down I would recommend Angela to anyone looking for a makeup artist for any special event. She also offers makeup lessons, and I’m seriously considering signing up for that too! Call her – you’ll be glad you did.
Angela is a phenomenal makeup artist and a genuinely kind and warm person. She took time before my appointment to get to know my preferences and what I was hoping to get out of our session. She followed all COVID-related procedures (wore a mask the entire time, used disposable applicators, etc.) - I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. I would highly recommend Angela to anyone looking for a makeup artist!
Angela is my 1st choice MUA in the Triangle. She is very talented, her works are beautiful and I enjoy it when she does my makeup. Her versatility allows her to give the right makeup to match the occasion. Go to Angela for your makeup and you’ll not be disappointed!
