Catered for our Scott Family, Labor Day menu. Food was delicious. It was an awesome switch up, from the standard backyard cook-out. Thank you very much. We Will Be Back!!!
Came here from out of town just for Angies. We had the oxtail, jerk chicken and the curry goat - all fell off the bone. Exceptional food, amazing service and so worth the drive!
The oxtails were so delicious and my plate was packed to the max on my first visit (see pic). Everything was good. So much so that I ordered again a couple of days later. Only the next time, I received way less food and my oxtails were rubbery 😔 My son ordered the stewed fish, and it just wasn't giving what it was supposed to give. BUT, it can't always be perfect and I will order from here again. Definitely better than the other Jamaican food options around here.
This was my very first time eating at this place, and, I must say that I am very impressed. Hands down the best Jamaican Cuisine in Durham at this time. I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken for my friend and the Brown Stew Fish for myself. We could not stop eating in time enough to make it to our event! Lol sad, I know, but it’s the truth. If you’ve got a taste for some authentic Jamaican Cuisine with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, Then Angie’s will not disappoint. This restaurant is definitely giving the other guys a run for their money!
I came in off the reviews after visiting the area. This place does not get the recognition they deserve. I had the stew fish meal- a medium sized portion and had 2 full belly meals off of it. The fish was very well seasoned and delicious. I haven’t had Jamaican food this good outside of NYC! Y’all put South FL to shame! I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone visiting the area and I hope you’re still there serving good food when I come back. Props to the cook!
