I originally had an okay experience coming to this salon However my next trip was nothing of the sort. My hair was severely damaged by the owner. Not only did she make me wait with chemicals in my hair while she serviced two other clients but she then chopped off over 5 inches of hair claiming it had to be done, not to mention bad mouthing her clients as they sat in her chair. Upon further review at a BETTER salon further down capital, I was shown that this woman also put incorrect chemicals in my hair leading to my hair being damaged. The jealousy in that woman’s heart towards women is absolutely disgusting and she shouldn’t be doing hair. She has some good workers but the owner, Avion, needs to be removed ASAP. I am one of 7 clients so far in the last 4 months whom has had a poor experience and left with a damaged crown. Be ware of this place.
This salon is most definitely the best spot in town. Avion is definitely the hair god. She is an expert in hairdressing and knows the latest trends in the industry. Absolutely a 5-star service! Avion was very informative on the best way to care for my hair, including product recommendations for my specific concerns. She took her time and educated me. She also used all high-quality products. Avion keeps everything well-organized and clean at her salon. She was compassionate and definitely understood the assignment. She provided me with the best hair service and treatment. Avion did my hair extensions with utter accuracy and perfection. Without any doubt her skill level matches her confidence level! I walked out of stylzplus not only looking gorgeous but feeling like the confident queen that I am.
Avion has been serving me since 1994. She is a wise and extremely knowledgeable professional. She cares about her clients and strives to educate up and coming stylist.
Mrs. Avion is a true professional who loves what she does and you can tell by the quality of her work. She has installed several partial sews-in and a wig for me. I was very happy. She made sure to protect my hair and not make it to tight which I appreciate. Madison is great as well. Very friendly and accommodating. While I haven’t had her do my hair yet I have seen her work (braids) on others and they look great. I look forward to having her put some braids in my hair as well. The salon is also very clean and welcoming. I will definitely be back!
I have been going to Stylzplus for years, back when it was Style Ahead. This was my first time getting blessed by the owner and purchasing the hair from them. She was efficient, quick and gave me a birthday gift😍❤ (my bday was the following day). The hair is SUPER tangle free. After getting my edges SNATCHED back to Africa by the AFRICANS and the unwanted chemicals (KERITAN) from the DOMINICANS, it was refreshing being back in a BLACK shop with stylists that actually understood my hair (and spoke english... No offense)
