My fiance fired my old barber in town so I was looking the Fairfield area for a new spot. After some searching I stumbled upon Vic and VIP Barbershop. I hate switching barbers and had one in NYC for over 8 years so this was a big deal. Needless to say I had a great experience with Vic, he took his time and made sure everything was done how I wanted it. When I came back home my fiance was more than happy with how my hair came out with Vic. Looking forward to being a long time client!
I have been to quite a few barbers in CT but VIP is undoubtedly the best one I have been too. Victor consistently does a fantastic job and I will definitely keep on coming back.
5/1/23- Called to see if they take walk ins and was told they do. Drove to the shop at 1pm on my 90 minute work break, sat down, and waited patiently while the two barbers there were finishing up with their customers. Ended up waiting for 1 hr and 15 minutes until both barbers were eventually finished with their customers at the same time. They both then sat down, and started eating sandwiches without giving me a cut or even acknowledging my presence, even though I was sitting there for over an hour. I left & won't be back. First cut I got there was great though. Service needs big help.
Amazing customer service great energy in this shop really recommend you will never go anywhere else. Victor really understands what it takes to make you feel like you're the only one that matters.
I tried out the barbershop and I couldn't be happier. I had an appointment with Victor and he made sure to communicate with me throughout the cut and make suggestions. The cut itself was great and I felt very welcome. I will definitely be visiting again for my next cut!
