I want to start by saying I love African food and claim it to be my favorite cuisine. At this restaurant we felt like we didn't get what we paid for. Portions are on the small side. Drink prices aren't posted so I had no idea I was paying $17 for two drinks! Overall the food was ok. The photos looked great but the $14 wrap is small and $18 curry was thin. Perhaps it was just the character of the dishes we picked. Taste was alright, and I really hate to give a less than stellar review to a small ethnic restaurant, but we were pretty dissatisfied with the whole experience. *The business did refund the price of the drink which I did not ask them to do. But thank you for the gesture. I will reevaluate my rating.
The food was very delicious! I highly recommend coming here! Very inviting atmosphere. I think a lot of people around here take the availability of this delicious authentic cuisine for granted. The FM area is very fortunate to have your wonderful restaurant here. Thank you! I can’t wait to come back!
I used to love this place! It started going down hill when prices went up. You don’t get amount of food for what u pay. It probably been 3-4 months since we came n came tonight and still same. Ill call tmr but it looks like on my card tip was added n i didn’t select one.
This restaurant had more of a commercial feel to it as opposed to being authentic. BUT... It was in fact authentic as the owner was there cooking and he is from Africa. The food was pretty good. I had the chicken and rice and would recommend it. My friends shared a Sports Plate. Their goat was a little too chewy for them but the other meats were good.
Been meaning to try this restaurant for awhile and happy I stopped in today. Smelled good, tasted even better. Best food I've had in Fargo - keep up the good work!
