This is going to be long, but it’s about time that I finally left a review. I have been going to Maria since 2015. I have followed Maria to any business she worked at, until she became an entrepreneur. Here’s why: When I made my very first waxing appointment in 2015, I didn’t know Maria. I just happened to land with her at the business she worked with. I was super nervous, not because of anticipated pain or anything, but because going to a random person and having them wax intimate parts of my body was not something I was used to. As soon as I walked in and met Maria, she made me feel super comfortable. I didn’t feel embarrassed, I didn’t feel scared, and I didn’t feel awkward. It was an amazing experience. I walked in my first appointment thinking I would never go back, and after my appointment, I was super excited to go back. Sounds weird, but Maria explained the entire process to me. She answered all my questions and was super personable and had. A great personality. She quickly became a friend. Another plus, I barely felt any pain. Maria was so quick and efficient, I was done in like 10 minutes, and that included us talking, and me telling her to wait every 30 seconds because I was scared. Fast forward to now. It’s been 8 years, and Maria is still not sick of me texting her monthly for appointments. :D She is always so easy to get a hold of, she sets my appointments, and she has even set times outside her usual work schedule for me if I cannot make her usual times. I have referred several friends to Maria for different services, and they are all now repeat clients of hers, and even they referred their friends. I cannot recommend Maria enough. If you have are looking for an esthetician, Maria is the one. She is a one stop shop whether it’s makeup, waxing, eyelashes, etc. seriously.
I have had the privilege of being under Maria’s service and care for over 7 years now (I can’t believe it as I’m typing it). You will never find another esthetician like Maria. She is professional, she is authentic, and she is compassionate all traits that are hard to come by. I have gone to her for everything. She did my makeup for my brand shoot. We’ve done body cavitation to reduce some inches before a special event. She has done countless Brazilians for me. She actually made me realize that all the ones I was getting before were not up to par. She is the only person that I get my eyebrows and eyelash extensions done by. She even did a teen facial for my son (he needed it badly!) What a lot of people don’t know is Maria created her business from the literal ground up. She has invested time and money into expert level education to ensure she is providing her clients the most up to date service and ethically safe service possible. She is extremely intentional about the quality of experience she wants her clients to have. Most practitioners don’t. I live in Dayton so I have to coordinate strategically. She books out quickly so I always make sure to book appointments before I leave her studio. It’s never been hard for me to communicate with her if something were to change. Knowing how busy she is I truly appreciate it. More than that, Maria’s energy is contagious. She creates a safe space to get service. I never leave her establishment feeling like I didn’t leave with more than I expected- never. If you’ve had a bad experience with her (which is really not possible) it’s because you make it your personal agenda not to. Maria is not the type of person that doesn’t try to find solutions and she is genuinely in the pursuit of clients satisfaction. You will not regret going to her for your needs! I’ve never said that about any beauty professional so I don’t say it lightly! Trust me!
Very nice and patient. This was my first experience with detailed eyebrow waxing and tint. Maria was very understanding and did a wonderful job. Thank you.🙂
For weeks now, I have been trying to make another appointment for a Brazilian that I already paid for. I bought a year package, yet she doesn’t answer calls or texts. I can’t book online because there’s no way to schedule the service without paying for it again. I really hate to leave this review because Maria is pleasant in person, but I am extremely disappointed and frustrated, and I wish I spent my money somewhere that would actually deliver my service.
I came here for a Brazilian with Maria and had an awesome experience. I’ve been getting Brazilians for years and I’ve had strip wax, sugar, hard wax, you name it. Maria was great, it was quick and easy, and I felt totally comfortable with her. She was respectful and professional. Definitely recommend !!!
