I didn’t find a review for wedding dress alteration before coming to Ali’s place so I took a first stab. Was a little bit nervous but it turned out to be a terrific choice if you don’t expect several rounds of fittings. Ali did an amazing job sizing down my wedding dress from size 6 to ~2. He charged very reasonable price and the dress was ready within a month. I highly recommend!
I used Sew in Style three times and have been thoroughly impressed each time. At first, I was a little unsure if I should take older custom suits there that I wanted substantially altered by tapering the legs, removing cuffs, and adjusting lengths. I tried one suit first, they did a great job—and were very reasonably priced—so I brought 5 more suits for alteration. Each one came out great! Finally, I went back to have a repair done to a suit jacket and they made the repair with no problem. If you need work done, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. These guys are great!
Wow, what a quality business! This is an absolute hidden gem in Vienna. We came in to get a custom wedding suit for my fiance, and from the beginning, Ali N. was such a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable and helped us throughout the whole process, making everything easy for us. No high pressure sales tactics here, just excellent quality and amazing customer service. Sew in Style offers so many beautiful fabrics and options, and it was all of incredible quality. The tailoring work is also absolute perfection. The custom suit and dress shirts we ordered fit my fiance wonderfully. Prices were very reasonable, too. We will definitely be back for more. This is a family-run business, and it certainly felt like a family experience. We are so happy we found this place! Thank you, Ali and Mr. Ali! They will be expanding soon into DC with off-the-rack options, as well, so I can't wait to see what more they will offer.
This was the first time I used Sew in Style for an alteration, and I was very pleased. It was a tricky alteration because the length had to be altered at the waist and around the zipper to preserve the scalloped bottom of the lace overlay. They did a beautiful job, and it was delivered on the date promised and reasonably priced. I will definitely use their services again!
Great tailor. I had an urgent situation with a formal dress that needed alterations right before traveling for an out-of-town wedding and they came through for me. Very professional and excellent quality work at a reasonable price. I will return for other tailoring needs in the future. Thank you!!
