My sister had her wedding at this event center on Saturday July 29, 2023 and there was no air conditioning, cake was melting, guests very hot, fans placed in the hall to help with the heat by the couple, Emphases on place by the couple. A beautiful wedding ended bad only because of a misleading business owner. If you want to be in the wedding business you can be all about the money and not about your customers experience. Wedding is a very memorable event that one can’t afford to go wrong. My sister and her husband worked really hard for a perfect day and did not deserve what Phenix banquet center gave them. i.e: the Lady who owns the business loves to make promises she can’t keep. My advice to anyone trying to rent this place, don’t do it.
The owner is a very big liar, she mess up my sister wedding. there was no air on in the hall. we told her, and she did nothing about it. the guest did not enjoy the wedding, the whole hall was so hot, that everyone left the event so early! to be specific this happened on July 29,2023. she needs to refund some of my sister money. very bad customer service from the owner.
Came from out of state to attend a wedding here and the venue really ruined the couple’s day. A/C was not functioning for the entirety of the reception. Guest tried their best to stay, cake was melting, and so on. The person renting the hall seemed very money hungry, and by all means set your price; however make sure you’re delivering what needs to be delivered.
This is a wonderful venue to host any kind of event. The space is beautifully decorated. Our guests really enjoyed the buffet food and desserts provided by Phenix. Yemi and her staff were so nice and accommodating for our event. They really worked with us to ensure our event was exactly what we were looking for! We hope to continue to hold events at this wonderful banquet center!
Great space, excellent parking, clean and comfortable. Great service, very accommodating. Definitely will recommend this Center and look forward to using this facility in the future.
