My husband Mark, our son Mico and our cousin’s Tasha and Kimmie came for late lunch/dinner and we were not at all disappointed. Chef Mo and a couple waitresses took awesome care of us. We had so many different things. My favorite was the egg roll with the greens, yams and Mac and cheese inside! We also had the fried chicken wings with a sweet potato casserole, smoked collards dip, burgers and fries, slab of ribs, greens, fried, catfish, fried green tomatoes, fried okra, Banana, pudding, sweet potato cheesecake, and peach cobbler with extra crust… even my drink was great. Chef Mo made my coffee and butterscotch the way she said she likes it and I loved it. We took home what we couldn’t finish and ate it for lunch today. We are going back for dinner again today. This review maximum is five stars, but if I could I’d gladly give them ten. Best soul food we’ve had in a while. And we love the spirits on the walls. Great job you guys!

This food is legit!! My husband and I shared the fried catfish with dirty rice and green beans and I got the “veggie” plate which is made up of your choice of 3 sides. I chose the Mac n cheese, Greens and Pinto Beans. Plus some cornbread. Every bite was delicious, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Stacy served us at the bar and was helpful and super friendly. She told us they have brunch on too. We will definitely be back soon for that!

Man I was looking for great soul food while in the area. I waited over 35 minutes and didn’t even get greeted by anyone. Granted the karaoke atmosphere was great; but, the service was TERRIBLE. No one scanned the floor to see if I needed water much less a drink or a meal. I just had to leave disgusted and hungry. I guess it’s Dominos at the hotel for me. I was here from 9:05 - 9:47 p.m. if you’re looking to hear great karaoke this is the place. The Bar and grill doesn’t exist! SO DISAPPOINTED

The BEST soul food I have had in so long!!! I'm so glad we stopped in! Everyone was so welcoming. The live music was a bonus! The food exceptional. The fried green tomatoes are crisp and delicious, they sit on a bed of corn and onions with some crisp lettuce and sliced grape tomatoes-the sauce under them is the perfect marriage of everything on the plate. The collards are beyond amazing. Flavorful and plentiful...everything you want in your greens. The pulled pork had amazing sauce and just the right amount of pickles and slaw. Chicken tenders were on point. I think the fries may have been tossed in ranch seasoning, regardless, they were so tasty. The banana pudding is next level, banana custard, shortbread cookies (my guess) and bananas. The cookies were crisp and the bananas were fresh and light. The bourbon pecan pie is light and flavorful- warm and delicious. Served with vanilla ice cream. Artist appreciation is added to the bill means we don't have to worry about tipping, we can just enjoy. Note an 18% gratuity is added to all checks. I can assure you - your tastebuds will thank you!

This was my first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was cool and laid back. There was live music when I was there. It was too loud to have a good conversation but great if you want entertainment with dinner. The service was decent. She seemed impatient about the questions I asked about the food. I have dietary restrictions so I have to ask when I go out to eat. The soul food egg rolls were good but the rest was just okay to me. I had the blackened fish, potato salad and greens. The fish and greens were a little too salty for me. My friend said her rib tips were just okay as well. Overall, it was a good experience.
