I love Busy Boss Bakery. If I want to get a quick treat or a cake for a special event this is my place! I don’t know how she does it but everything is so good and looks even better. People talked about how beautiful and delicious my baby shower cake was for months after! To top it off Ashley and her entire family are such a pleasure to work with and talk to. You won’t go wrong with this choice!
I usually don't do reviews but I have to save the next person who scrolls on the internet to find a birthday cake for their daughter. You ruined my 7 year old daughter birthday. You charged me $160.00 for a cake that had no presentation her name wasn't even on it. I asked for strawberry crunch cake with a mermaid and a sunshine on it. It was no hint of strawberries. There was no effort at all put into this cake. It could of at least tasted good. I couldve made it myself. I said i hope it's worth it and you promised me it will be. You couldve told me you couldnt do it but you were greedy. I took your word for it only to be let down. I would've came back for more. You could've had a loyal customer. I would've shouted you out. You can't support your own but karma is something. I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND!!!!
We recently held a team-building event at Busy Boss Bakery - Ashley made it inspiring, personal, and so much fun! She worked with us to customize the experience, and created a wonderful afternoon that that included instruction and hands-on decorating as well as a hilarious (and delicious!) teamwork challenge. The outing exceeded our expectations - we will definitely be back and look forward to her new location in Midtown.
The staff are great and the place is especially fun for kids - free candy! Plus, there is a kids corner to keep them occupied while you order your bakery. I bought 6 cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday. There wasn’t a lot to choose from, but the chocolate were delicious. The vanilla with strawberries on top, however, were…interesting. The cake was dense and very UN-cupcakey. Kind of like shortcake but not. But no warning or explanation about it in advance, so were they maybe just stale? In any event, we’ll try them again. Still looking for a good bakery in Larchmere where you can get bakery and coffee at 7 am. Sigh…
Great experience as a first time customer. Busy Boss Bakery met and exceeded our custom cake expectations. The additional free cupcakes was very kind and sweet gesture ❤️.
