I decided I wanted my hair done last minute (morning of) for a maternity shoot later that night @7pm. This shop was the 1st to pop up when searching for natural hair salons & had 4.9 stars at that, so I called a few times (no answer) then just decided to go stop by (thinking it was a walk-in type salon) but that wasn't the case. So in my last attempt i booked an appt via the website for 11am & Nita ended up calling me back shortly after. She tried her best all afternoon to fit me in with 1 of her 2 stylists there because she was at the other location all day. My quoted time went from 2pm to 3pm (which was still ok since I had til about 5:45pm to get done & only wanted a simple 2 strand twist style to 1 side). I was there on time to see Cocoa but she still wasn't done with her previous client from earlier but I was still willing to wait for thinking she was almost done. Needless to say, I didn't sit in her chair until 5pm & the ONLY service I got was 5 twists done in 45mins. I left feeling VERY disappointed & cheated!!! I basically had to rush & finish/fix my hair myself after waiting around for hours to be seen. HOWEVER, she contacted me later on that night to rectify the situation (which I heavily respect) & I am happy that I gave her a 2nd chance! I went back a couple days later & had a way better experience! I was seen on time & got an even better style than what I originally intended. The vibes/conversation was great & I enjoyed being there. Having said all of that, I thank you Cocoa for making things right!! It's greatly appreciated! I will return in the future.
Nita is an amazing person and stylist. After not getting my hair retwisted professionally for a year, Nita was very patient and understanding. The atmosphere was relaxing, fun and welcoming. Coco her fellow stylist was a gem as well. I haven't laughed that much at 8 am in the morning ever. I appreciate these Sista's. I will be a regular customer.
I’ve been going to, Blessed Black Beauties for over 2 years now. Everything that I’m about to state are things that I have witnessed for over 2 years. I am more than grateful for this true professional black hair care experience. Nita, Ms. Cc, and CoCoa have all provided nothing but the utmost professionalism and knowledge about my thick, long hair care. They’ve been with me since starting my locs, combing out my locs, and any and all other protective hair styles you can think of. Their hard work and dedication shows through their skill sets. These are the only women who I can think of, who have no problems with doing natural thick hair whether it be short or long. I won’t let anyone else come near my scalp, let alone a strand of hair on top of my head unless it’s them. Nita, Ms. Cc, and Cocoa have nothing but integrity, passion, and patience when it comes to hair. They have no problem teaching you the level of hair care your hair needs and have no problems with providing it. I appreciate and respect their time, level of passion, and the skills that they possess. As I hand them their flowers I want to personally thank them for a professional 2.5 yrs of a blessed business experience. Thank you, Nita, Ms. Cc, and Cocoa. I really do appreciate you all!!!
First timer, to returning client! Enjoyed the atmosphere which was a vibe. Clean, professional, on time, reliable. Style exceeded my expectations. Cocoa is amazing be sure to book!
Cocoa is one the best in the area! She really makes sure you walk out of their feeling and looking the best. Very very sweet ladies in there that know exactly what they are doing and will make sure your time and money isn’t wasted. Anyone out there looking to do a retwist or to get started on your Locs, look no further than here!
