This place was by far the cleanest and most sanitary restaurant I have been to. They have workers that randomly cleaned all tables and straightened up the dining area. The food was great. If you're not accustomed to this genre of food, it may take you back a bit, but once you bite into the food, it's a colorful pallate of flavors. I would be back more frequently if I lived closer.
10/10 for my first experience! The staff was very pleasant and professional. The facilities is very clean; to include the restroom. A great selection of music that makes you want to dance. The food was DELICIOUS, flavorful & good temperature. The mango juice is refreshing. I've been wanting to try fufu and it did not disappoint. I was good and stuffed. I'm glad my friend recommended them. I will definitely be back.
Great food and even better atmosphere. I am an avid fan of African cuisine, and visited a lot of them in the United States. This place had the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen.
It was such a beautiful day, my girl and I went for a long Sunday drive. On our way home we were looking for Pho soup, as it usually happens. Serendipity happened and right close our destination we saw this Authentic African Restaurant!!! We came in as customers and left as friends, the service was absolutely outstanding, the staff took the time to educate us on the different dishes and made wonderful recommendations for us to select from. The concept of selecting is much like Chipotle's, you build your plate. We both had goat (helthier/leaner choice) cooked in spices, a vegetable casserole, fried plantain, my wife had these sweet noodles, I had rice and we both had these egg stuffed potato balls. The food was fantastic, so delicious everything complemented each other. The owner's wife came out to spend a little time with us and she was absolutely delightful. If you don't mind stepping out of your comfort zone and are willing to heighten your palate repertoire, this is definitely a place to experience.
Great food, friendly atmosphere, never had African food before and this was my first time and I’m impressed. I had jollof rice, chicken afra, pickled onions, salad, and my husband had jerk chicken. Decent amount of food for the price, and a choice of a drink. We got the mango juice. Try this place you won’t regret it!
