Dr. Longworth-Beattie is the best. She’s very prompt if you need to reschedule and also is amazing at what she does. She helped with my family and also my grieve with my husband and my overall mental health. When you’re in your session with her, she genuinely cares and also remember what you previously tells her. She gives you her full attention when you’re with her. I’m so glad I have her as my therapist!!!
Absolutely the WORST PLACE EVER!!! I let my twin boys see a counselor after their father passed and on the third visit I let them go alone because I felt maybe they wanted to say things that they didn’t want me to know about ( he was an abusive alcoholic) and they came out little HELLIONS!!!! I don’t know what was said and when I asked I was told she couldn’t tell me because of hippa laws!!! They were 12!!!! I’m here warning everyone DO NOT COME HERE!!!! My boys are still acting out!!!!
About 5 years ago I started seeing Melanie to revisit and come to terms with some of the trauma I experienced as a child and an adult. I felt the environment was really welcoming. And a lot of spiritual insight Melanie gave helped me reconnect with God. The timing could not have been better; I was finally willing to get help and to start being honest. I never felt judged when I was honest either. Sadly I moved out of the area in 2017 otherwise I would've continued to see her. However, the office has been really helpful when I've needed referral letters--this was after I was no longer a patient. I appreciated that they still treated me as if I was a patient and didn't put it off.
Dr. Beattie is amazing. She really cares and goes above and beyond to help you. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!
I love the atmosphere here. Marya is excellent at her job. My daughter and I thank God for allowing us to cross paths with her.
