My organization recently worked with Joy Christian Counseling to facilitate a group therapy session for a collective of artists we work with. The session was powerful and the facilitators - Amber and Kira - handled the entire day beautifully. They held space for vulnerable conversation that was much-needed by everyone in the room. I would recommend them to any individual or organization.
Amber has been a God send and I don't say that lightly. I am 36 years old and I have trauma from my childhood that I have ran from for years. It has impacted different areas of my life and when Amber was recommended to me I was grateful. I felt like it was time for me to stop running and start healing. I have been to counselors in the past and they have been good but none have been like Amber. My experience with her has truly started to shift my life. Sometime I look at myself and I don't recognize the heal and whole women that stands before me. We still have a ways to go, but I trust Amber to lead the process. She is professional, honest, educated and joyful. I never though I would get to a place where I would say this but I do truly enjoy going to counseling.
Amber is an amazing therapist and is a beautiful, empathetic human being. Her ability to connect with people and help them when they are hurting is superb. As a fellow therapist, a colleague, and her friend, I fully trust her and refer to her without reservation.
The quality of service was amazing! I will continue my work through this office; everyone was so lovely and kind. Ms. Joy has a special and endearing way with words; she is a phenomenal communicator which put me at ease.
Total waste of time and money. Drove 3 hours to get help for my son each week and thought we had found a PCIT therapist. No results at all after 4 sessions and once we got in to see a PCIT therapist in OKC we found out the Tulsa therapist wasn’t doing PCIT at all. Not even close to the standards of the Oklahoma City therapist. The one session in OKC achieved more than all 4 sessions in Tulsa. Feel like I wasted $400 and a ton of time. Seek out people who can help and not just collect a paycheck. Very disappointing! Also majority of positive reviews are employees. Speaks volumes.
