B&G owner is absolutely amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable and performed a wonderful tasting of her honey made Meade! Extremely scrumptious and just the right potency! Very trendy and comfortable setting! And the views from the porches are gorgeous! A very pretty property! She was so kind and took a few pictures of us so we could post as our engagement announcement photos. Hands down one of the coolest adventures and worth the drive! Looking forward to the next time we check out this place but with friends!
Had a wonderful experience here. It's definitely worth the drive out here. Can't wait to see the bed and breakfast. Great Mead too
I highly recommend a trip to this meadery if you are a fan of mead! Its a scenic country drive from OKC with plenty of little towns and farm stands along the way. The outside looks like a cheerful red barn. Inside, we did a tasting which included some snacks and 6 different kinds of mead to try. The tasting room is very comfortable, well decorated and clean. The proprietor was very enthusiastic and knowledgable and we thoroughly enjoyed the wide range of flavors. Usually with mead, you expect more spiced flavors, but B&G had more fruity flavors. We ended up buying several bottles for later, mostly fruity for the summer but also one that tasted like port to enjoy in the winter. The space is also available to rent for parties. All around a delightful day trip.
Went here for a tasting way back in October 2022 with a friend who was visiting from out of state. The whole experience was absolutely phenomenal! The owner, Cassandra, greeted us as we came in, and she made the entire experience delightful. You can tell she puts time and attention and care into the meads she makes, and the passion is so evident! Every mead we tried was delicious, none of them overly sweet, and all ones I would gladly drink again. Definitely a business that is run by good people, and for sure has my support!
I look for meaderies whenever I go somewhere new. This was the best one in some time. We actually really liked all of the meads and bought several to pack in our luggage to fly home with. She was super accommodating and nice and seemed to really enjoy having us sample the meads and talking about them. I would certainly recommend doing the sampling. We were staying in okc and it was certainly worth the trip.
