Marie is a very professional master stylist who specializes in natural textured hair. She is gifted in working with all hair types, and has been awarded countless certifications and awards for her styling excellence. She takes her time to understand each individual’s hair needs while using a holistic approach. She has restored the health of my hair after years of chemical damage prior to me finding her salon, and helped me to love my natural curls. I’m so thankful that she is my stylist and I highly recommend her.
Marie is very good at what she does! Talked me through the whole process She educated me on what looks work and what doesn't she also advised me of the products that she was using on my hair. She listened to my needs and delivered on it very well I left out with confidence of wearing my own natural hair proudly. I will be going back
Marie knows curls! Hands down the most knowledgeable, intuitive and kind hairdresser I've ever had. Marie could tell my nutritional deficiencies by looking at my hair! She knows what each curl is capable of and its specific limitations. She really delivers! I wanted to try out a shaggy cut with bangs and get all the dead off. I'm very pleased with the outcome and will go back for hair growth treatment.
Both my daughter and I received services from Marie. She was very patient with my 5 year old and was so knowledgeable about hair. She took her time to explain everything to us. I struggle to get my curls to look the way I want them to and she really helped me to achieve that.
I'm still on the lookout for a really good ethnic hair salon. I tried contacting MeRae's via phone and email but never received a response. From their website, it appears that they offer all the services that I'm looking for and have experienced stylists. It's for those reasons that I give it a higher rating. If someone from McRae's follows up with me, I think this could be the salon for me, and I'll revise my rating after I get in for an appointment.
