The reviews do NOT lie! This place is legit! The staff is wonderful, friendly, and very personable. The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable, very inviting, and also very refined. It's beautiful. The food is INCREDIBLE! We tried every appetizer, shared among five of us. Not one item failed to live up to and exceed expectations. We each got a different entree from the Jerk Chicken, which was super moist and perfectly cooked, to Curry Goat, which was the best goat I've had in my life, to the Whole Red Snapper that was perfectly presented and so tasty and flaky, and then the Ox Tail, which was better than Sunday pot roast, and the Jerk Shrimp Alfredo, creamy and delicious! Dessert was rum cakes, which easily became my favorite cake ever! I want it for every occasion! Pottstown is SO BLESSED to have this wonderful pace with its great people and next level cuisine!
Wow! Nice gem in Pottstown. We had: Tamarind Glazed Wings Potato Croquettes w/herb mayo Jerk Chicken Curry Chicken Fried Chicken Sandwich Prices and portion size were pretty good too. Definitely will be back!
I had this place today and it’s the absolute best , I drove 30 minutes for it, I had oxtails jerk chicken and curry chicken and they were amazing and so was the customer service, I live for good food and this place is my new home, prices were even better…. I’m here to tell you it’s a must try…. I can’t wait to go back
Escovitch Fish - 5/5 Expected to see the traditional escovitch fish with head and all, but received 2 fillets of batter-fried fish. Honestly, didn't expect much until I tasted it. Absolutely delicious! Curry goat - 3/5 Looked delicious but tasted alright. There was no 'kick' or hint of 'heat' to the curry goat at all. Was a little disappointed. Took it as left overs so hoping it ages well. Plantains - 5/5 Fried to perfection, absolutely delicious! Mac and cheese - 4/5 Very buttery ~ ~ ~ May not be the best option for vegetarians or vegans. Street parking, didnt notice a parking lot.
Not my normal go to, but wow. The food is phenomenal. The portions are also large, so you get to enjoy a doggy bag and confirm your assessment.
