I’m a bridesmaid in a friend’s upcoming wedding, and the dress was much too long and loose at the bust. Courtney did an excellent job making the needed alterations and her professional enthusiasm made my visits pleasant. I will certainly return if I find myself in need of other alternations in the future. I couldn’t be happier 😊. I’ve added before and after photos for reference.
I was recommended to come here for alterations by the shop I bought my dress from. This place was incredible! So much so that my mom got her dress altered here too. It was such a welcoming and thorough experience - plus my alterations were done so quickly! Fast forward to the wedding day, I had guests ask if my dress was custom made 'because it looks like it was made for you'. I'm not sure if there is a higher compliment than that! Thanks to this shop and the incredible ladies that work there for making me (and my mom) look and feel amazing for such a special day
This shop is amazing! The owner is super nice and her staff is even more helpful! Monica took extra time to help me get into each and every dress I wanted to try. She didn’t even mind when I asked to try the first one on again, or help me try to squeeze into a dress that was way too small 😂 I made my appointment the day before for a 60 minute session but ended up staying for 2.5 hours! We even took a small chunk of time out to look at bridesmaids dresses. They also have a variety of styles to choose from. I absolutely loved my experience here and would highly recommend this shop for any bride.
The Dress Matters is a charming and intimate bridal boutique. We had our own little showroom (myself and 3 guests), and we were allowed to shop through the dresses. I chose this as one of my shops because they carry Tina Valerdi, and Debbie pulled every Tina Valerdi gown they had for me :) The selection is beautiful, and she was kind, patient, and friendly. She even stayed past my appointment time to help me. I posted pictures of my 2 favorite dresses at her salon. One of them is a sample dress for only $100!!!!! At the time of my visit, it was my top pick, and she graciously offered to hold it for 24 hours for me. Although I ultimately chose a dress from another boutique, I am so glad I came to The Dress Matters. Thank you!!!
Though I didn’t end up purchasing my wedding dress from The Dress Matters in the end, I had wonderful experiences at my two appointments at this store. I worked with the owner, Debbie, who was thorough, professional, patient, and very kind in choosing options for me to try on based on my preferences, helping me into the dresses, and pointing out different features of the gowns. Though I ultimately found a dress elsewhere, I would highly recommend any brides-to-be to make an appointment at The Dress Matters. Great atmosphere, nicely kept shop, and kind staff.
