Must try!! Everything was DELICIOUS! We had the fried chicken, mac & cheese, collard greens, sweet potatoes, chicken po boy, corn bread, pineapple coconut cake and apple peach cobbler. We had the “soul spice” sauce and it was flavorful and SPICY! Any spice enthusiast will want to try this sauce! The chicken was hot, crispy outside and juicy inside. Really friendly and fast service. Had to go back inside to get a second cake because it was THAT good!
LOVED EVERY BITE!! Got the fish po boy, hubby got a chicken sandwich, BOTH HUGE, hubby opted for the tiger sauce, upon the recommendation of the husband of the chef/owner. We also added on a banana pudding to take home with us. From the engaging personality of the owner and her helpful hubby, to the assistance provided explaining the menu, to the care taken with our order and desire for everything to be just right, to the banging banana pudding, we loved this place!! it costs a little bit more than the average place in town, but the food is above average and the portions are incredible. We will definitely be back. ! Don’t let this one get away !!!
All we can say is WOW!!! Portions 10/10 Flavor 15/10 Personality 20/10 Food was incredible and portions were so generous. Packed with flavor and made fresh! The owners were super nice, you can tell there is heart and soul in this food! We got called out for being newbies because our order was too simple 🤣 The chef encouraged me to try the Tiger Sauce and I’m so grateful for the recommendation!!! We were there a little before they closed so they JUST ran out of mac n’ cheese but gave us a free slice of lemon pound cake instead. Cannot wait to return often to try it all!
It’s very rare that you find a place nowadays with awesome food & customer service. Soul D’Lysh has both! I got the jerk chicken tacos (pictured here) and my husband got a fried chicken platter with Mac & cheese and whipped sweet potatoes. Then…there was a special of oxtail so we grabbed that too! Everything is made to order fresh!
Simply amazing! The owners Alysha and Keith truly take pride in their restaurant and put soul food on a whole new level! My husband Justin and I got the Jerk Chicken Alfredo Birria Tacos and Jerk Chicken Alfredo (their signature dish). Both fusion options were nothing like we've ever had before. The creativity, passion, and love that went into cooking the food, reflects the wonderful personality of the owners. I highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t already!
