My appointment was 2/24 with Anika. From the time I stepped into the salon I felt welcomed, the salon is beautiful like a museum filled with black culture. I have locs and researched for someone who takes care and understands natural hair. Anika was very knowledgeable and took very good care of my needs. I love the way my hair looks and feels. I'm new to natural hair and wanted to meet with a stylist that not only would do my hair but would discuss how to care for and maintain my hair. From my initial contact, Anika was very professional. She provided detailed, written information on the services provided, the cost and how to schedule an appointment. The appointments are scheduled so that all attention is on you. The salon practices strict COVID regulations for the safety of all involved. She gave great advice on hair care and how to achieve my hair goal. It was a very enjoyable experience and I look forward to my next visit.
Anika is amazing. Her salon has a warm inviting atmosphere and the massage shampoo chairs are a special treat. She consults with you about your hair needs. I decided to try palm rolling for the first time. I absolutely love it.
I called the salon on a Sunday for an emergency walk-in appointment. From my initial contact with the receptionist to the very end of my experience I was pleased with how warm and professional my experience was. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about hair care and hair health and gave me many helpful tips on improving the health of my hair. The environment is clean, professional, and cozy. Anika is hands down the best hair care specialist I have ever been to. My appointment was for 11 am today, but I arrived at 10:30 and she took my back as soon as I got there. She is no nonsense when it comes to hair. I have some heat damage in the front, but she didn’t just tell me it had to be cut, she taught me what to do in the meantime to take care of it. She is extremely knowledgeable and wants the best for your hair. If you are looking for someone who is very professional, has excellent interpersonal skills and a heart for hair care, Ryan Foster is the place for you. She is so sweet, and will do whatever she can to make you happy. Also her staff is professional too! You’ll feel right at home. I will be back! Thank you Anika.
