I went on Thursday may 25th to get my hair done In twist braids they came out so nice & neat I love themš & they twist fast too they started around 10 & got done around 12, I will be back Nysha thanks for doing my twist braids you guys never disappoint me every time I come to you guys
I donāt think Iāll be returning here to spend my hard earned money. The last time I came I had a wonderful experience and loved my hair! This time around my hair was parted unevenly, sloppy unraveled ends, and I asked for one thing but got another even after showing the picture of what I wanted. I think itās because it was a different braider the last girl who did my hair was younger and could do current styles. The shop wasnāt very sanitary either. Total difference experience from the last time I went.
UPDATE: 7 months later and I have yet for the stylist to do what a proffessional would, and that is try to satisfy a unsatisfactory job and a once loyal customer. BACKSTORY: Iām just really sad that I was allowed to leave with my hair like this. I expected more from these professional braiders. I asked for medium feed-in box braids, went here before for the same style a few months ago, and it was perfect then. But today it was a disaster. I should of known when they started taking it out when they were 2 braids away from being done. Then even after taking out half the braids, I mean from my ears up, the entire top. It still looked crazy, far from the picture which Iām sure wasnāt gonna be exactly but itās not even medium, or box, so like I said it was my birthday and I really hate my hair. Itās just a mess looking like I went a neighbor or sum. Sad.
The shop is so clean especially compared to some Iāve been to on Woodland Ave. I also really enjoy the speed of the hairstylist/braiders. My shoulder length butterfly locs were beautiful & I loved them. So it disappoints me to say I really donāt like my goddess braids I have now. They look nothing like the picture I sent beforehand. I didnāt like how I was still charged the same $ amount as someone who didnāt bring their own hair despite me almost always bringing my own & being told braiding hair is provided with the price. Also, thereās way too much hair left out so the maintenance is way more than anticipated. Lastly my main issue is the quality of the braids this time. Theyāre stuck sticking up at the roots like they were intentionally braided up or like I slept on them. Theyāre in the back of my head so I didnāt notice the awkwardness of the braids until my boss pointed it out.
They are unprofessional. They were 1 hour late no consideration of people time.. They gave the time for us to be there . Then they did a rush job . Then when made the appointment and what received was totally different . They charge kids the same price as adults ā¦ If they donāt like what you say they then want to take the hair out or call the cops ! Will never return back or refer them again to anyone ..
