My husband and I went to Liz and the La Pointe team about a year and a half before our wedding with a crazy idea. An idea of getting married under all their beautiful lights outside on September 3rd and on top of that have more guest than they were used to at the La Pointe Venue. Immediately a crazy idea turned into the most amazing night! Liz, Candyce, Brock, the Montpetit family and all the staff quickly became more than wedding planners and venue owners to us, they have become life long friends, family and truly the most amazing people we have ever worked with. Wedding planning, picking food, vendors and everything else is so stressful but if I could do it all over again solely for the fact of working with the La Pointe team I would! The most beautiful night, day, experience just everything couldn’t have been better! All night we had guest raving about the venue and I have to give all the credit where credit is due! Do yourself a favor and book your 2024/2025 dates asap!
My husband and I got married at La Pointe Events in the General Sam’s building on 10/1/22. The La Pointe team was absolutely incredible! Liz and Brock are the nicest people and truly care about their clients. We worked mainly with Candyce on planning the day and she was such an amazing help, to responding to ALL of my emails in a timely manner, to helping with decor and giving advice on many of the questions I had, and the day of if anything went wrong I sure never found out about it. The day was beautiful even though it rained basically from 1pm on (and yes, we still got married outside!) but the team and Candyce’s positivity sure made the day stress free for myself, husband, and wedding party members! It was very convenient that they also provided the food options for the day as that was one less thing we had to search for, and it was delicious. Many guests were impressed by it! Would recommend this venue to anyone 😊 We cannot thank them enough for making the most important day of our lives perfect!
Liz, Candyce and Brock were an incredible team to work with to make sure our wedding day ran smoothly! They were incredibly responsive and happy to answer any questions we had about the day, and truly made the process a smooth one. La Pointe is SUCH a beautiful venue- the sound of water trickling down the river and birds chirping during our ceremony felt so peaceful and was such a beautiful setting for our wedding. We got so many compliments on both the venue and the food, and my husband and I feel that choosing La Pointe was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! I seriously can't say enough good things about this venue!
We cannot say enough good things about our experience at LaPointe Events. Our daughter was married at the General Sam’s venue the end of September and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue and staff for this special day. The grounds are gorgeous and the patio and reception area were absolutely stunning. We received so many wonderful comments from guests as well. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and communicated with us every step of the way. Knowing the staff had everything under control and truly cared about our experience, helped us relax and made our day that much better. Thank you to all at LaPointe for making our day so special and one that we will remember forever!
My husband and I had the most magical wedding day at La Pointe. During our planning process, they were incredibly helpful with answering my many questions efficiently. They have perfected the organization that it takes to swiftly pull off large-scale weddings. We will never forget Brock coming outside during our golden hour photos to inform us that there was an even better spot but we’d have to hop in his side-by-side. The two of us plus several vendors hopped in to head to the most beautiful spot. This ended up being the highlight of our day. Liz, Brock, Candyce, and the rest of the La Pointe staff, we can’t thank you enough for all the work you put into our day. We knew after touring this venue that it was our only option and it should be yours too!
