I ordered a funfetti cake from Kia’s after reading the reviews. This cake is what a kid born in the 80s dreams about. I was a last minute order, and the woman who took my order was courteous and so kind. The cake was UNREAL. For this cake, I would have paid double the price if I went to a bakery on the main line, and the cake Kia’s made was 100 times more delicious, beautiful, and a deal!! I can’t wait to order another cake!
First time customer, somewhat new to the area. Super adorable cafe. Ordered the "orange creamsicle" flavor cake and icing as a simple birthday cake. Came exactly as ordered, they used lovely shades of colors. Service was relaxed and still friendly and professional. The cake itself was so yummy and perfect texture, I honestly could've ate it all without the icing. The icing was also yummy, it just was a lot compared to amount of cake. No fault of theirs, just me and my sensitive stomach. My only change next time will see if they do a "naked" cake with a smaller cake to icing ratio. No weird after tastes, had a good balanced flavor, and the cake kept very well. TL;DR would totally order again. Go walk in and see their options for cookies, bread puddings, muffins, cupcakes, you name it!
I ordered a cake for my sister's babyshower, the design and colors were exactly what I wanted, but the cake itself lacked flavor and was spongy. I asked for a vanilla flavored cake, and it didn't taste like vanilla or any flavor at all. The cake tasted like it was stale and made maybe days in advance and sat in the refrigerator until it was pick-up time.
I ordered my wedding cake from here. The customer service was excellent and very helpful! The cake was delicious. My wedding was in July of 2022 and the wedding cake is still getting praise!
I wish I could show a photo of the cake I bought but it was eaten so quickly and Loved by everyone! We ordered the Black Forest cake and everyone loved it so much that I wished I had taken some cards from Kia's Cakes to give to my guests. Love this business! For so many reasons. ❤️
