Great place to have a gathering or party. The room provided for the event was very elegant,stylish and modern. The staff mainly one gentleman detail cleaned before we arrived and provided excellent service and help we needed to decorate and have fun throughout the evening. The lady that served adult beverages was very fast. There was never a wait in line to get a cocktail and she smiled with guest and kept a professional and courteous attitude throughout the evening. If you want to have an event. I highly recommend this banquet hall. I must also mention the parking was very good as well. And this place is easy to get to by Uber,cab,personal vehicle or Septa Transportation.
I have been here a couple times and never realized the condition of this place it reminds you of so many other places I've seen or been in where they just in it for the money instead of investing some of it back into it ! I had guest of 175 or more and the air was not working properly and after complaining all they kept saying that it was on. Yes we knew that because the water from the air conditioner was leaking on my guest and again I did make that aware to them as well. The staff said if the front doors are open that could be the reason Mr.. this door been closed for the 5 hours of our event! I know they say it gets hot because of large crowds that wasn't the case either because it was definitely hot upon arriving. It was so bad my guest were fanning and going outside to get some air !!!!!! The place is really starting to be run down to the point I almost had glass shattered on me from a window up top while standing outside for air it was by the grace of god that I stepped a few feet away to talk on the phone if I didn't I don't what could've been !!!! Only thing that was nice is how the staff accommodated us with somethings but the owners should be a shame of how things are looking inside and out and the floors weren't any better hiding things with the rugs... I just wished it was a better atmosphere I'm just thankful that the guest had great time despite everything!
Administrative side is highly unprofessional. I really wanted to support a fellow black business owner, however she obviously is not equipped to deal with the public. After she sent me a tacky email, because she didnt want to call back after I already filled out the form, as other facilities did, so that I could cross reference pricing, she blocked me as I offended her. Very unprofessional. I ended up going with THE ARTS BALLROOM, ask for Taylor shes great!
This place has so many unnecessary rules for such a basic hall. The whole time I worked with Dee not once did I get her phone number. It was very frustrating and she was so annoying with the emails, if she had giving me her number, all the back and forth email would have been cut short. I would not recommend them at all, very annoying!
This place did not have adequate handicap accessibility. The staff was horrible. The bathrooms need some maintenance work done. I don't want to use this place for any of my events.
