Overall rating: 4.7 Omg my pictures look terrible & definitely don’t do this place justice. Tucked behind a sushi spot, a speakeasy restaurant is a cute spot for a pre-appetizer with a friend. I went just to try the clarified pain killer and it was interesting. I don’t know if I liked it. Lol However, the truffle fries were very good & I was very surprised. I think I’d go back for a date and if I was in the area. Def not solo. Def not with friends. Not a place I would seek out, but still a cute spot. Cocktail bar casual.
Bright, modern space for unusual cocktails and delicious snacks! We headed over to The Hidden Pearl around 5:15pm on a Friday and managed to get a table for 2 pretty easily. Though the place was full by 6pm, so don't hang around if you want to try it out! The cocktail menu was great, and there's a good Sake selection too. We had some truffle fries and saw (and smelt!) the fried chicken - we'll definitely get this next time we visit. The servers were friendly and helpful, and the drinks were truly delicious and presented very well. A great place to come if you want to try some unusual Japanese whiskeys!
This speakeasy is located in the back of Wanpaku (check them out for their amazing HH first before coming to the bar). The bartender Victoria was so friendly and kind! She recommended us 2 of their best drinks, and I can agree that they were one of the bests! We got the Japanese Breakfast (an elevated and tastier espresso martini) and Pandan Killer (sweet and creamy). Having just been to Double Chicken Please, I think the drinks and vibe here were much better. 5/5 would return!
Super cute tiny bar in the back of the ramen shop. Delicious, innovative takes on classic cocktails. Heavily inspired by japanese cocktails! A great spot for date night - there’s very limited seating so would recommend making a reservation in advance
This place is so so so so good. The drinks are so unique and unlike anything I’ve ever had. We came here at 5pm on a Friday and by 6pm is started to fill up. There is not a lot of seating in here, so I would come early or expect to wait. (But it’s worth it!) really cool aesthetic inside. Staff was very friendly. We had a great experience
