I am the mother-of-the bride and the single best decision my daughter and I made was partnering with Donielle and her Elegant Events & Design team. I am still floating from the wedding that went even beyond my daughter’s dreams. It was the best feeling watching my daughter and her husband so happy and enjoying the day with all their guests. Our families and friends are still talking about the wedding! Donielle allowed me, the other parents, and the bride and groom to be in the moment on the wedding day and enjoy every second without worry or stress. I had 100% confidence in Donielle. I interviewed three highly recommended wedding planners, and any would have been capable, but my daughter and I were both immediately drawn to Donielle’s positive energy, professionalism, organization, and experience. I knew immediately she would be a good fit for my daughter and me as well. Donielle, expertly and professionally executed my daughter’s wedding bringing together the multi-cultural traditions of three families resulting in a beautiful and joyous wedding day, all within our budget. Not only was the wedding day a wonderful day for the families and guests but Donielle made the planning process fun and exciting. I tend to be an anxious over planner, but I was so confident in Donielle and her team delivering, I experienced no stress with the planning! I think there are several things that make Donielle and the Elegant Events team successful and sets them apart: Their vast experience and expertise in planning multi-cultural weddings including working with both bride and groom’s families. She is well versed in different cultures and wedding traditions but never assumed what was important to us. She always listened to our unique needs and wants. The Elegant Events team is well respected in the wedding industry and has great relationships with a wide variety of top vendors in the Philadelphia area and beyond. Donielle not only recommended vendors that fit our budget and style, but she acted as a liaison as we planned the wedding details. As a result, we were so happy with all our vendors and each really made the wedding day special. Donielle’s positive energy! She always had suggestions and solutions and made sure everyone was happy. She kept us organized and on-budget and was upfront and transparent about everything. Donielle was responsive with any questions or concerns throughout the whole process including the day of the wedding. It was a joy to work with Donielle and her team. I highly recommend Elegant Events Planning & Design and I hope I get the chance to work with her again. My daughter has already referred Donielle to two of her bridesmaids.
Donielle Warren and the Elegant Events team are THE TRUTH and, in my opinion, the best in the business. My daughter got married in June and the wedding was, in a word, ELEGANT! From the start of the planning process until the wedding date, Donielle and her team took every detail into consideration bringing to life my daughter and her fiancé’s vision of their day. To start, Donielle includes everyone in the process because she understands that a wedding brings together two families, not just the bride and groom. Before the wedding day, Donielle felt like family. She met with the bride and groom initially and then my two daughters and I met with her via Zoom. Donielle had the brightest smile and sweetest demeanor. I knew before the end of the meeting that she was our planner! Donielle was extremely professional and organized. She set up the wedding portal that everyone could access which included vendor information, to do’s for all parties and timelines for every single part of the planning process - from day one planning to the day of wedding. I have planned a couple of other weddings before but never have I had someone so detailed and organized. When a deadline was approaching, Donielle would send a gentle reminder and if ever we had questions, no matter how small, she promptly called, emailed, or texted us. We put our full confidence in Donielle, so when it came time to choose florals, we hired Donielle’s floral team, and they did not disappoint. They were just as professional and knowledgeable. The florals were stunning and perfect for the space that we chose. On wedding day, Donielle showed up in full “boss lady” mode, though never losing her sweet demeanor. She had the wedding party, guests, vendors, and staff in place and on time for each segment of the day. Nothing was too small nor too large for her. I needed eyedrops that morning and one of the bridesmaids needed a conversion kit for her earrings. Donielle had her staff on it immediately. I could go on and on about Donielle but I will end by saying . . . HIRE HER!
We've had the pleasure to work with Donielle and her team on numerous events, and it's always a wonderful experience. She's involved in on all the planning calls to make sure the day of everything runs perfectly. As wedding professionals we rely on each other to make the client feel valued and to take care of their needs, and working alongside Donielle we always feel like she's our partner. I was very delighted with the process and with the outcome. The design was excellent. I was wowed. The flowers were gorgeous and I wish I could freeze them for life. Moombi, Jae and Donna were fantastic. They were very good with making sure we stayed on track with the timeline and schedule. It was great for me to have a day that I didn’t have to worry about what to do. I really appreciated that the planning was seamless and your tremendous help in sourcing our venue. Having help with the planning helped to keep things going. Everyone was a a joy to work with. A perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. They made the process smooth and enjoyable.
