I have been to performances by BSwan Dance Company and the technique combined with the positive messages they embody and bring across the stage through dance is phenomenal! They are also all about the youth and helping fellow dancers perfect their craft in their own individual way. Their motto says it all BRare....BNoticed....BYou. If you were to ever get the pleasure to work with them or simply attend a performance don’t hesitate! They are for sure an artistic force all should experience. Simply a gem to the art and dance world!
I’ve had the privilege of attending multiple shows by this Black owned dance company and it’s always been my pleasure. I personally do not dance but watching these dancers makes me want to. It’s not simply about technique but embodying what you’re trying to portray to an audience, telling a story, having a message. This group of young professionals has risen to the occasion every time. I’m beyond grateful I get to witness & cannot wait for the next show.
It has been a true honor and a pleasure to have worked closely with BSDC and experience the outstanding growth as the company continues to blossom. BSDC is a unique dance company that offers its talents and skill not just through performance, but also with kind hearts and generosity. They are very involved with giving back to the community in more ways than just performance. I would highly recommend that anyone should take the time to experience BSDC, if you have a love for the arts or you do not your spirit will be touch by the talents that pours from this dance company.
