They get 3 stars for their fries. This place used to be my go to do lunch since I work right at the building, but since the new owners have taken over I don’t enjoy it as much. I ordered 10 Turkey sandwiches for a lunch meeting. I was given all ham sandwiches. I had a few people who don’t eat pork in my meeting so they weren’t able to eat lunch. I called the cafe to express this issue and the Guy on the phone who claimed to be the Manager told me the sandwiches were turkey, and that he knows this because he watched the sandwiches as they were prepared. I brought the remaining sandwiches back and the manager showed it to one of the employees who confirmed that it was in fact Ham. The manager then says , I’m sorry about that maybe it was an accident on these 2. I assured him that all of them were the same and you also told me you watched the employees prepare them. The 2 sandwiches were corrected in the end, but mistakes like that shouldn’t be made. I hope they do better in the future because my office is scared to eat there again.
The food was excellent. They had delicious beef on sliced toasted French bread, nice shrimp that had flavor, handmade crab cakes, middle eastern stuffed grape leaves, and seared tuna with watermelon. That is just a few of the items that stood out. I really enjoyed the food and would definitely give them 5 stars for their catering.
Food was awesome. I had ordered the Chicken and Salmon Buffet, roasted vegetables, and individual French pastries. The caterer did the best and ended up not having enough food.
The staff arrived punctually and was very professional and easy to work with. The food, primarily for brunch, was delicious. The guests commented on how good everything was, which says quite a lot. If we need any future event catered, I would use Samar and Boulevard without any hesitation. Thanks for a great job!
