Honeybee (Christopher) is not only an expert stylist for curly hair, but an educator too. Every time I get a cut, Honeybee walks me through various (easy) ways to keep me hair healthy and looking fabulous. Equally important, Honeybee is a wonderful human with whom I love spending time. I highly recommend!
This is by far the best hair cut I have ever had! The first time I've had people ask me for my hair dressers info. I found him on the DevaCurl website and the experience was everything I hoped for. He's so friendly and makes the entire experience so pleasant.
I found Christopher on the DevaCurl website and then checked out his Instagram and I am so glad I did. Have you ever had a haircut so fantastic that you made a facebook account just to leave a review? Or cried because you loved it so much? Not because you were upset? Because I have thanks to Christopher. Like many curly girls, I am sure, I’ve had many terrible haircuts where the person brushed my hair straight for cutting or razored the ends to give it a “flip “ and two weeks later I ended up chopping my ends off with fabric scissors just to get it to stop poofing. Every time I get my hair done my usually astute husband says “it looks the exact same”. Even using other “curl specialists” I’ve left hairdressers a puffy mess and then I had to relearn how to wrangle my hair into its natural curl pattern. I left his chair with perfect hair. I was so nervous because the appointment information says to show up with your natural curls and obviously that was the first day in two weeks my hair was barely curly, but still he was able to work his magic! Not only was my hair perfect, but what an inviting energy and beautiful bright space! I felt invited, welcomed, heard, and like I was hanging out with an old acquaintance. We laughed, talked, and at no point I was uncomfortable or felt like I couldnt ask questions. Since getting my hair done I have been able to style it almost exactly as well, which has never happened to me before! I wish I needed another haircut so I could chase the high of seeing my new hair for the first time in that big mirror. If youve made it to the review section of his pages, just book, you won’t regret it ♥️
I could not recommend more The HYVE by Honeybee more. Chris gave me the best curly hair cut of my life. I hope this review encourages you to book the appointment- you will not be disappointed!
Chris is phenomenal! He has created an incredible, welcoming environment in his salon, and he is the only person I trust to cut my curly hair!
