I’ve been going to Rachel for over 10 years and she is truly gifted hands. I walked in her salon with major heat damage and an inability to work with my hair type. Rachel not only encouraged me to go natural, but taught me about wellness, internal hydration, importance of natural products etc. My once broken and damaged hair is healthy and flowing down my back. I also can go from straight to curly with no issues. My school-aged daughter also benefits from Rachel’s gifted hands. She is so patient with children and is a joy to have as a stylist and wellness coach!
I have been going to Rachel 11+ years. My first appointment started with a consultation and she addressed all of my concerns including hair loss after pregnancy. She recommended products and showed me how to use them. I was nervous but she kept me encouraged during my transition to natural. Before I knew it, my hair was back! Now I go from curly to straight and back to curly in between appointments. I've done everything with Rachel...cuts, long layers, color, highlights and have been happy with all of them. My daughter also enjoys going to see Rachel. During their appointments she talks to her about her hair, answers questions and is always patient. I no longer live in Virginia but gladly drive to see her for my appointments.
When you find an amazing hair stylist all is well in the world. I found Rachel in 2010ish and my hair and heart thank her immensely. She is exceptional at her craft. She takes the time to understand my particular hair and what I want, whether it is to try color, a cut, natural styles, and always has me looking fly. I love that I can just sit in her chair and give her a little direction on what I want and relax and let her do what she does best. My hair is healthy and I get compliments all the time because of how talented Rachel is. I recommend her to all my friends and family and anyone looking for a hair stylist. And not only is she amazing at doing hair but she is an amazing person. Rachel is thoughtful , caring, genuine and I leave relaxed and encouraged after every appointment. I’d give 10 stars if I could because she’s that good!
Rachel is an amazing stylist. I wear my hair very short and she takes the time and effort to color my hair. She knows how to take care of all types of hair. She is simply a genius. Anyone who thinks differently let’s talk about it!
Rachel is a real master stylist. Before she started on my hair we did a through consultation were I told her about my scalp issues and need for more movement and body in hair. She did a wonderful scalp treatment that I noticed a huge difference once I was shampoo and conditioned. Her cutting skills are amazing and she gave me tips on how to maintain my style at home.
