The food was so good!! Fried pork, fried goat, and stew chicken. My husband , daughter and I passed here on our way back home from a road trip to Boston. The Accra was so flavorful and crisp. Portions were generous , we had leftovers and left stuffed!! Whenever we are back in town would highly recommend coming back. Black owned and wonderful service! Job well done!
Order in advance (15-20 mins) if you want your food sooner otherwise, I jst went to the bar next door while my meal was being prepared. The service is great but this is a definitely a Haitian restaurant. We ordered oxtail, peppered shrimp & the red snapper meal they were all prepared Haitian style (which is 🔥🔥🔥) All meals come with rice and plantains but you have the option to substitute dishes. It took 20-30 mins for our order to be complete but the food & service
Must try the Lemon Wings!!! They are light, refreshing, and zesty (yes, fried chicken can be all that!). Fried plantains are amazing too!!! The place is fairly small so seating is limited, but parking is a breeze and it seems like a lot of the business is take out. The owner was also extremely friendly and suggested the lemon wings - were so glad she did!!! Prices were very reasonable for great portions of delicious food!!!
This place was awesome for Caribbean food! We got the jerk chicken which was delicious! We also got the Caribbean meatballs which were flavorful and a little spicy! The plantains and rice were good too! We also had the peppered shrimp was great too! I did want to try the macaroni pie but unfortunately it was sold out. Service was friendly and take out was a very easy process! The restaurant is small but looks like they may have a cute outdoor area when things are back to normal! They do have a parking lot which is a plus in Providence!
Exceptional variety of authentic Carribean Cuisine. Owner was super friendly and the staff very helpful. My only recommendation? Get there early as some dishes sell out. My hard working ICU nurse will wake today to her favorites from Carribean of Eve! More photos to follow #RockFromRI
