The trip of my dreams. I've wanted to go to Morocco with Sunny for years and this year just lined up. Her team on the ground, -our guide Muhammed and our driver Kamal, were fantastic. Every place we stayed was 5 stars including glamping in the Sahara. Each day really was an adventure and just looking down the alleyways provided a new glimpse of a mostly hidden world. We saw large tour groups getting on and off their giant AC buses and none of our small party wanted any part of that. We walked, a lot, and I swear most of it was up hill, but the places we got to were worth it. If you are even considering a trip to Morocco, or any of the other countries she leads trips to, give her, or her great "assistant" (way more than that) Alyssa a call. You will then be off on an unforgettable adventure.
First trip with a travel agency and Biotrek has set the bar very high. This was definitely the best trip I’ve taken It definitely exceeded my expectations. Sunny Reynolds, the owner, pays attention to all the details so all the clients need to do is enjoy the trip
Just returned from Namibia on my first trip with Biotrek Adventure Travels -- what an amazing experience. I was already familiar with Biotrek's stellar reputation: small groups, excellent guides, wonderful accommodations, and exploring the hidden gems of each location -- so my expectations were high! Simply put, I was not disappointed and I highly recommend signing on to any one of their fascinating locations. (This photo is from our visit to Twyfelfontein, a USESCO site, one of the most extensive petroglyphs in Africa with engravings that are more than 2,000 years old.)
This is our 4th or 5th trip with Biotrek, and just like the other trips things were meticuloulsly planned, informative Sicilian history with great docents, and an enjoyable group of people. Things always work better with smaller groups , and people get to know each other compared to some of the cattle-herding done by many. WE got to visit both locations of my wife's great grandparents in Acireale and Giarre, and Sunny's excellent staff support even scheduled a separate ride for us to the airport in Palermo as our flight to Spain was too early for all the others. We did a lot of walking, but it was invigorating. My hat is off to Sunny and her staff for such great planning , to include coordinating all of our flights, boarding passes, etc. , and our food throughout was excellent. The vinyard tour left us all impressed, and too many experiences never fail to impress. We'll certainly be considering future trip with Biotrek as they have never failed us in impressing us with diverse experiences.
The trip to Morocco was a unique experience. After waiting for over a year due to restricted travel due to the virus it was well worth the wait. Sunny and her in-country team give you a deep insight into life in the country; the people, the culture and its history. Traveling in a small group makes everything very personal. We finished the trip feeling we had made new close friends with the driver and guide who went well beyond what was expected welcoming us to their country. This experience all relates back to the planning and preparations by Sunny and organization.
