This is the cutest little place to stop in and grab a delicious breakfast! Came to Columbia for a field trip and we like to avoid chains when traveling. Best decision checking this place out. The BLT is exactly like what your granny would make for you to eat on the porch with buttery toast. Even the mayo was delicious. My kid had the Texas Omelett and there was no shortage of salsa and sour cream. He LOVED it. The tots were piping hot, crispy, and actually seasoned. Everyone working here was so nice and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again next trip to town!

The food was delicious!!! I had the build your own omelette with spinach, mushrooms and liver pudding. I loved it!! The lemonade with peach and two squirts of wild berry was a beautiful refresher. Staff are friendly and the food was fresh. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going here!!

I had the Biscuits & Shrimp Gravy this morning with a side of cheese grits and wild berry lemonade- the flavor was THERE, I ate every last bit. Whoever came up with this menu item was onto something. Only thing I’ll say is the portion size could be a little bigger, the biscuit was small and cut in half. Would definitely come back here for a meal like this.

I wanted to try something different and I came across this spot. Small cozy spot on lady street. Black owned restaurant. I got the shrimp and grits with bacon on the side with orange juice. I also got the pineapple lemonade. Everything was great. I see the special for this Thursday is honey garlic lamb chops. I will there to get them. Meet me there!!!!

This place was delicious! I am not from the area so we stopped in on the way heading out and I was very pleased with my choice. I got an iced vanilla coffee with their special of the day a red velvet pancakes which came with a side of breakfast meat (bacon) and grits. The grits were the best grits I have had in a long time, the right amount of flavor with out over doing it. Loved them so much I almost wished I got their build a grit bowl. The coffee was a little sweet for my liking but not bad. The food and staff we the stars here. Their signs a very transparent and sassy ( I loved seeing the personality) and the staff was ver pleasant. Next time I’m in town I will be making the effort to stop in again! Thank you Toasty Hot Spot for the great meal!
