The turkey was delicious! Cooked just right! Mac and cheese And the yams Delicious!! My girl Is ordered the curry goat. I have never tried goat. It also was great! I will definitely be going back!
Go out of your way to get here! Right on 17 and every bite was spectacular and amazing well balanced flavors. Only thing better was Eve and her team.
I'm not quite sure how familiar people are with true Caribbean taste and to have the word Caribbean in the title of a restaurant means that the orientation of the food must mimic that of the culture, unfortunately this location does not. Not only does the food not have the correct flavoring but it isn't cooked the proper way either and I'm sorry to say that unfortunately I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a real Caribbean food in this area. And definitely don't get fooled by the pictures on doordash.
Eve's is what I call local food and service you DO write home about. I'll say, back home, there's no establishments like her restaurant. Loved the place so much we couldn't stop talking and thinking about it after the first visit. We came back a 2nd time the same week before I had to fly back home. Tried about half the menu from the jerk chicken, curry goat, curry oxtail, and ribs. Don't forget about the sides! Collard greens, candied yams, plaintains, potato salad, chicken rice, corn bread. Ginger tea, lemonade. Pound cake. Peach cobbler. D E L I C I O U S. The portions were all just right for the price and the food is really packing with flavor. Favorites are definitely the jerk chicken, chicken rice, and plaintains, corn bread was the perfect type of sweet! To really top it off, we really adored Eve and her staff. Absolutely friendly and kind folks!!! If I could, I'd order her food to get shipped to me in my state. Thank you Eve and staff for such an incredible experience and we look forward to coming back again when I'm in town. If you're someone Googling this restaurant debating to come in, you should really give them a try!!!
If you are in Georgetown, do not miss this place! Absolutely delicious food. Have never had anything bad but the oxtails and escovitch fish are amazing. Friendly service. No frills but comfortable atmosphere. We love this place.
