I have been wanting locs for years but was hesitant due to the lasting commitment. However, on June 9, 2022, I finally did it. I chose my loctician Veronica because she was my friend loctician and her work is amazing. After almost a year I know I made the best decision ever. Veronica is down to earth and a realist. She educates me on my loc care but we also discuss life as two black women with no judgment. I look forward to my retwist days because the vibe in the salon is so peaceful. Veronica cares about her craft and her clients and it shows. I would not have wanted to start and continue my loc journey with no one else. My loctician is the BEST!
Veronica is friendly, professional, and quick. I really appreciate getting in and out quickly. The shop is nice and clean. She is very knowledgeable about locs and cares about her clients hair.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The service was above exceptional! Ms Veronica is an excellent stylist. She uses all natural oils, shampoos and products. She worked very fast and is extremely knowledgeable about locs. She educated me about what causes build up and how to stop dandruff. I'm bringing my boyfriend here so she can do his locs too! I'm definitely coming back.

My experience with this business was strange to say the least. I contacted this business via email on the website. Days went by and I did not get a reply so today I decided to call. A lady (I believe she said Veronica was her name) answered the telephone with hello. At that point was not sure that I had reached the business -Nappy Hair is Happy Hair. She confirmed it was. I explained that I was following up on the email I sent a few days ago. Her reply was- Did I give you my email? I said no, I sent an email via the website (Contact Us). Suddenly the line went silent. I realized our call was no longer connected. Did we got disconnected or did she hang up on me? At this point I am not certain. I read several reviews describing the "Awesome work and Excellent service" customers received from this salon. I must say I am very disappointed that I will not have the pleasure of experiencing any services this salon provides.
