We dined here with two other couples that suggested that we join them. We instantly fell in love with this place. Staff was very friendly and helpful, great atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious. That catfish had to come from Lake Varnell. “That catfish is delicious. Fry it dye it, lay it to the side. Red beans and gravy, I ain’t too lazy!!” 😂😂
Amazing food and business! Everyone in my party ordered something different and we tried each other’s- it was all delicious. I had the oyster mushroom chicken & waffles. No itis after eating it. Drinks were great, too.
Great restaurant! Atmosphere 10/10 Service 10/10 Food 8.5/10 I had the Mahogany Breakfast, and it was pretty good. I enjoyed the sides more than the chicken, but overall, a really really decent meal. The staff was friendly and kind, the live music was AMAZING, and there was an overall great vibe. I will definitely be returning.
We had a party of 14. It didn't take long to be seated, but they require a deposit be put down, and said for a party that big, we should have had a reservation. We didn't do a reservation due to us not knowing how many people were coming to my daughter's graduation brunch. There was an employee, I'm not sure if he was a manager or what, but he THOUGHT he was gonna talk to my daughter with a smart mouth, but MOMMA BEAR had to come out and remind him, he best not go there. There were other customers waiting to be seated who commended me for how I handled that situation with my daughter. I told another employee, I don't wanna have to deal with him ever again. I'm glad I didn't have to deal with him any more. The waitress was ok, but was too busy and snappy when we asked for service. Ex. My nephew asked for an achoholic beverage, she was like... I'll get to it when I can. You would think that's part of her job. They can't say it's because of no reservation, even if we weren't seated together, staff was there working and should be given the same amount of attention as everyone else. We made the best of the situation and had a great time regardless. Cause nothing can stop us ever!
