The staff are friendly and very attentive. I love that they let us venmo the payment, so that we can just get our dog and go. (She gets really excited after she's had her spa day!)
Alex is amazing! Alex has been grooming our Watty for about 2 years now and we wouldn't trust him with anyone else! The staff at Snazzy Jazzy's are all super nice, professional and you can tell they care about all the pups they take care of. Highly recommend Snazzy Jazzy's!
First, please know that I have NEVER written a negative review. Last week my husband submitted a disappointing review of Snazzy Jazzy’s services for our dog but at that time we had not even experienced the real tragedy. The evening we brought our dog home from Snazzy Jazzy’s, he began to limp holding his left front paw in the air as he walked. At closer inspection we saw that he was bleeding from a toenail that appeared to have been cut too short. We assumed this was just further evidence of deteriorating services at Snazzy Jazzy’s based on a review my husband wrote earlier that day. We tried to keep his walking limited while cleaning blood he trailed on our floor but his pain made it difficult for us to bandage his foot. Eventually the bleeding stopped but while walking him five days later, our dog tripped down steps and broke the last toenail that Snazzy Jazzy left uncut. We took him to the vet and learned that (after another $300) the #3 toenail that was not cut during his “grooming” is a weight bearing toenail and without the others, his weight caused this toenail to break where it meets the bone. The pain was so intense the vet had to sedate him for his foot to be dressed and he is now taking pain medication and antibiotics’. I have to say that I am beyond upset and given the arrogance of Ellie (owner) to feign surprise at our dog’s handling needs (in her previous response) when she herself has personally worked with our dog for over three years and is very familiar with him. I personally put the muzzle on my dog in the parking lot before giving him over to Mary explaining that our dog is sensitive around his nails. I can only imagine his distress when his nail was cut too short and bled. For all of this to happen, including ignoring the basics of blowing out his undercoat and surprising us with an undisclosed double charge upon pick-up, leaves me little hope that her response will acknowledge any responsibility. I regret writing anything negative about others, however, my only purpose is to advise others before they decide to take an animal they love to Snazzy Jazzy’z.
My dog has been to Snazzy jazzy’s twice and will not go again. The first time she got a grooming and glands expressed and ended up with a sore bum. The 2nd time it was so bad I had to take her to the vet and pay an additional $215 for medicine to alleviate the pain and soreness. I called to resurrect the issue and NOTHING was done. Not even 1 star, 0.
Rachel did a fantastic job. It was my puppy's first haircut and he looked great and seemed so happy! She explained everything that would happen before and let me know how he did at the end. They do grooming/nails along with teeth and ear cleaning. Here's a before and after!
