I ordered a 6 inch triple vanilla mini cake with strawberry coulis . The decorative aspect of the cake was okay. The cake itself was so dry! It crumbled immediately after being sliced and the texture while eating it was disgusting as it just crumbled in your mouth. The fondant was rubbery and not pleasant to eat at all. Everything was overly sweet. The sponge itself didn’t even taste good. Not one person who ate this cake finished their piece. I am extremely disappointed as this tiny cake was not cheap and went straight in the trash. I will not be a repeat customer nor will I be recommending this bakery to anyone. Absolutely horrible!
Jaybear is Bartlett’s best kept secret! I placed 2 orders for the same week - cake pops for my daughter’s birthday and a cake for my son’s First Communion. Both turned out perfect and DELICIOUS!! They were exactly what I was picturing (even though I didn’t give a lot of detail lol). The staff were super friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with, and my orders were ready right on time. The workmanship was beautiful, and did I mention delicious? Like, I don’t even like cake pops usually - but these were phenomenal! Plus, they included a personalized thank you card with both orders that was truly a sweet touch. I will now use Jaybear for all my custom bakery orders!
I wanted to take the time to thank these ladies for making my daughter’s birthday cake a second year on a row. It’s truly hard to find places with vegan and allergy friendly options, but these ladies made it happen! Vegan chocolate cake!! It was amazing, beautiful and delicious!!! The texture was perfect and the decoration was exactly what we wanted. Everyone loved the cake! I can’t express enough gratitude and how kind and welcoming you all are!! Best wishes on your small business! ✨
Beautiful cake for chess themed party. The white chocolate and milk chocolate chess pieces was a huge hit with our guest. We had fun trading chess pieces. Cake was very moist and delicious. The square design when we cut the cake surprised our guests as well. Thanks -Murphy Family
My family ordered 16 spiderman cupcakes for a hefty $59. When I tell you my 6 year old could have baked jiffy corn muffins and thrown playdoh on top and you wouldn't know the difference? The web toppings were handmade but that doesn't matter when every topper web looks like an experiment that came out "good enough for a first time try". Based on this experience alone, I would never send anyone to a shop that would proudly put THIS work into the hands of a paying customer.
