I want to say this was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had at any business that I have ever gone to in my entire 45 years on earth! Like 50% of the other reviews - Fatima was late and rude about being late. She spent half the time talking to other people while working on my hair- which explains why she was late getting to me. because when I came in the shop she was talking to the same person siting across the room while taking her time with her previous client. The person after me had to wait for fatima to finish my hair - which took longer than expected. So the back up was considerable. Fatima gives professional braidery a bad name by failing to be professional. If you choose to come here, take the whole day off of work because it’s anyone’s guess when Fatima will get to you. When she completed the work it looked great- if she could be professional and respect our time she should could have an amazing business!
Took longer than I expected to do the braids, I thought they would be bigger. My daughters hair is beautifully braided and she loves it so I am very happy. These ladies definitely know what they are doing.
Fatima's is AMAZING!!! I do not say this often as I am extremely particular when it comes to my hair. However when you show the stylists pictures here, they actually look, listen, and execute. If you become a regular you do not have to worry about the inconsistency in some shops where you are pleased the first time and then left wondering what the hell happened the 2nd time. It also does not matter who does your hair here because each lady does magnificent work. The shop is a bit small since it is in a room within a larger barber shop. I would recommend making an appointment and calling first, but they do accept walk-ins. It just depends on what day and time you walk in and what you want done. There is also a Wells Fargo right beside the building their in which has been super convenient for me. I have never seen a more dedicated group of ladies that strive for excellence with each and every client. I recommend Fatima's to anyone whose looking for total satisfaction and a job well done.
This is my second time coming to Fatima's salon. She is always professional, courteous and does quality work. The bonus is that she braids fast, but with care. My hair looks amazing and I am so happy with the style. Fatima talked to me about hair care and made recommendations on how to get my hair healthier. I will absolutely be back! Please visit, you will not be disappointed.
