This famous building got a new makeover, transforming it into a trendy lounge with a plenty of space to chill and sip your refreshment either on a patio or inside. I liked my cocktail. The payment is set to add a default 20% gratitude. I do not appreciate that, hence one star less.
Such a beautiful atmosphere. Feels comfortable but upscale. Loved the meatballs and the bartender made me a great drink. Calamari was a miss for me. The waitress/bartender was attentive and pleasant. I'd come back.
Nothing but VIBES!! If you're looking for an adult brunch experience in Nashville, this is it! Very chic and modern with urban appeal. So yes, I loved the decor. Music was everything you didn't know you needed. Food was pretty good too. 👍🏾 only issue is there limited parking in the area and the space can be a tad cramped if you have a party over 6. Other than those 2 things the atmosphere alone is a reason visit.
The vibe that EG&MC gives is like no other bar here in Nashville! If you’ve never been then I suggest you definitely slide through. The drinks are top tier, food is outstanding, and service is like no other!
I've visited several times and had a good time even though the food is hit or miss. But my last experience was very disappointing. I was there during happy hour on yesterday. I ordered the mussels against my better judgment because the bartender hyped them up. My friend ordered chicken tenders probably 10 minutes after I ordered. Her food came out maybe 15 minutes before mine. Once the mussels came out I saw that the majority of them were bad. They strategically placed the few open ones on top and the rest were closed. I wish I had taken a picture. Anyone who has had mussels knows that if they don't open when cooked that means they were dead before going into the pot and should not be consumed. It's bad enough that they served these mussels but then the bartender kept them on my bill after I sent them back to the kitchen. I spoke to the manager and she only discounted the item 60%. I don't even think there was an apology. This place should drop the tapas from the name and stick to regular bar food.
