We need more places like this in Kalamazoo! I love the atmosphere, wonderful staff, great craft cocktails and the Lemon Pepper Chicken salad may be one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The only slight inconvenience was accessing the menu via QR code due to slow wi-fi speeds. Highly recommend if you haven’t experienced it yet.
We had an amazing time at Dabney & Co.! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were incredibly attentive. It was evident they were trained very well with all their knowledge and they were so helpful in choosing a drink. We tried their Mango haberno mule, espresso martini, and old fashioned, all of which were delicious. It was such a fun ambiance. It’s a great place if you are looking for an amazing night out with delicious drinks!
What a lovely place, and a perfect spot to celebrate my friend's birthday. The drinks were delicious and beautiful, the food tasty (we got the green tomato BLT, the flatbread, and the lemon blueberry cornbread) and the atmosphere inviting. We managed to stay for over 4 hours, with great service the whole time.
Dabney & Co is thEE place to go when in Kalamazoo, MI. The soulfood infused menu literally satisfies the soul giving a happy-dance with each bite. The original drinks compliment the genuineness of the staff. The ambiance is so inviting you don't want to leave. Gods continued blessings, kudos, hats-off, etc., etc. to Daniel (I call him Lil Dabney) as he put his heart and soul into this establishment. You will NOT be disappointed. Please support. It's worth a trip to Kalamazoo, Mi just to have the Dabney & Co experience. O and I must acknowledge the restrooms!! They are so clean, fresh and stylish you feel like you're home.
I have been many times, so I clearly love the place. Most recently I attended the Juneteenth party and when I tell you that I had a TIME!!! It was everything. They need to do a party with DJ Chuck once a month. The only thing that I have to say as a critique is that they definitely need more staff because service time can be slow when they are busy and that event forced them to need to close the kitchen to have all staff at the bar (busy, busy!). But, they are hiring! Great customer service and the vibe is so grown and sexy. I love the music EVERY, SINGLE, TIME. The food menu is small, but the items that they do serve as tasty. I am so glad that black people have a mature spot to hang out and unwind or when needed turn up. I wish them nothing but success!
