Ty is a curly hair expert stylist! She cut both my son who has 3c/4a hair, and myself who has 2c/3a hair. We found Booshie Salon two months ago when a local barber had messed up my son's fade, and he needed to fix it before a photo shoot the next day. Ty was so good talking my son through the cut, really listening to him, and the final product was the best cut he's ever received. Watching Ty work on my son's hair, I decided to take the plunge and get the curly cut I've been dreaming of for years. At my appointment Ty once again listened and talked me through the cut, cultivated trust, and when she was done, I had an amazing face-framing haircut. My curls have never laid better, and even two months later still looks great. I get so many compliments on it! I am so thankful that I found Booshie and Ty, she deserves ALL the business!!
I've been coming here since last year 2022 summer getting my silk press done. I love the journey, I've been through from damaged broken off hair. to a more fuller and healthier look! I'll come and post hair photos as well. Well worth the investment in my crown.
I met with Olivia for my eyelash appt here! Well kept establishment with the sweetest (and I mean sweet as pie) owner. She offered me food and beverage, I really felt at home. And Olivia as always was amazing. I was super satisfied with my short stay and my beautiful lash set! Loved it. 10/10.
The Booshie Salon took such great care of my daughter for her Cheer pictures. She’s natural and wanted her hair straight for the photos. I made my daughters hair appointment on the website with such ease and found an available appointment quickly. My daughter absolutely loves her hair and this salon! We have never had her silk press last longer than a few days and we are going on 2 weeks! This salon cares about the overall health of your hair! Now, me and my girls are clients of The Booshie Salon!
Finally! Someone who understands. I went natural 5 years ago and as many of you know it's hard to find a stylist specializing in natural hair. Well I hit the lottery when I found Ty. I'm very tender headed and don't like to many people in more hair cause most people don't have the patience to deal with my thick hair 😔, but she was very patience and gentle with it. I got my first silk press and I was amazed at the miracle she worked. She's truly a hidden gem in Arlington. Thanks again Ty for everything!
