Chef D and her team are awesome! The food at our wedding was delicious and our guests were able to move through the buffet line quickly with the help of her team. In addition, I had many guests raving about the food days after. They especially liked the artesian stuffed mushrooms, crawfish mac and cheese, and red snapper!
Our experiences were amazing and I would use Sophisticated Delights again in a heartbeat. They offered tastings for a very reasonable price so we could truly select the food items we enjoyed. They showed up a few minutes early, setup the food in a beautiful display, and went above and beyond in serving appetizers and picking up. We had 38 folks and they all complimented on both the food and the service the Sophisticated Delights provided.
I got married in May 2022 at The Springs Event Venue in Brookshire and used Sophisticated Delights as my caterer for ~150 people. I fell in love with Chef Dee and her food at the food trial and although I tried a few other caterers, I knew in my heart that I was likely going to choose her. Ultimately, on the day of, we had a few mishaps, which included the catering team traveling to the wrong Springs location and thus arriving late, as well as missing one of the appetizers and the fish entree. However, everyone raved about the food prepared by head Chef Kari on the night of and Chef Dee offered a refund and a private chef dinner for 2 as compensation. My husband and I ended up using the private chef dinner on our 1 year anniversary and it was absolutely amazing!! The only reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5 stars is the mishaps noted above on my wedding day. Overall, the food was great at both our wedding and the private dinner and I would definitely use Sophisticated Delights again for an event.
I had the pleasure of attending a weekend birthday celebration for which Che D served as the Personal CED. O.M.G.!!! The aromas, presentations, quality, quantity & taste were awesome! Our palates were well pleased! Che D was attentive & very personable! We wanted to pack her up & take her home with us! The whole weekend culinary experience was magnifique!!!
Outstanding!!! Chef Dee and her team exceeded my expectations. Having good food ranked high in my priorities for our wedding and Sophisticated Delights did not disappoint. People are still talking about our wedding food. Everything was hot and fresh with excellent presentation. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!
