Grabbed my friend by the shoulders roughly while we were dancing for no reason. Happened a few seconds ago and i’m shaking. Don’t go here unless you like to be assaulted for no reason. Edit: Security outside “has no idea what happened”. But it won’t let our group back in? Never going back. Edit 2: Now I know what it was after 10 minutes of being outside. They should be TRAINED to deal with people who are obviously drunk and don’t know what they are doing. Reason? He accidentally dropped his drink and didn’t pick it up. Instead of asking him to pick it up or telling him it’s not okay, they grabbed him and threw him outside. If you like being treated like a human being, don’t come here.
Once I stopped in just to see why so many people say bad things about this place and it was everything they said and nothing but minors like 16 to 20. At a bar?!!! I spent like 10 mins asking people how old they were and that’s how I know for sure that there’s no way that they ID or that it’s a place that everyone around knows you can go without getting carded. There are way better bars. Like literally anywhere else. Plus the violence that happens here ooof! And the service is horrible on top of all of that.
the security guards here sure know how to treat a lady while body slamming them, like the time in 1998 when The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell in a Cell, and plummeted 16 feet through an announcers table. just google "private social club body slam woman" to watch the GTA clip
From the front bar area, to the dance club secretly hidden behind a bookcase, it’s obvious that a lot of money was invested in this place. The front bar area is adorned with rich wood tones and nice brick walls. Very nice indeed. Several large screen TVs are mounted on the walls for you to watch your favorite team. It’s a really nice atmosphere, but in the end, the front area is really just a neighborhood bar located in a strip center. But wait… there’s more! Behind that secret bookcase, you will find one of the most hi-tech dance clubs in town with a great sound and light system. It gets packed and has a good variety of music playing, but most everyone just stands around, not many people are dancing. The back room is only open on Fridays and Saturdays and there is a cover charge to get in. They're also very strict on the dress code for the back room, so dress to impress - no ball caps or sneakers folks. The bartender told me that on Saturday nights, there’s even a cover charge just to get into the front bar area - um, no thank you. On my last visit (early January 2019) their operating hours were 8pm to 2am, seven days a week, but according to Yelp this has changed. Final thoughts - I was hanging out on the patio on one visit and an employee walked up to my group and asked if we minded if he used his leaf blower to blow the leaves off the patio. We were like “um, ok...” On another visit, one of the owners brought his dog out to the patio for a meet and greet. If you’re trying to build a reputation as a high end party club, you definitely don’t want to bring your dogs and your leaf blowers to the party (review Business 101). It just makes it seem like more of a neighborhood bar or an ice house (which I would prefer). Final verdict - I’ll give them 4 stars for what they are trying to be. I’m sure it’s great for those of you looking for this type of place. But it’s just not my type of vibe. And I won’t knock them for that - to each his own. I truly do wish you well with your business venture.
Stellar club with an awesome lightning system. They need to promote the events more though. The club was a bit sparse when I went to see BT. He's a big act, but maybe not as much with the younger crowds. Sigh.
