We scheduled a generations and family photo shoot and I could not have asked for a better experience! My grandmother has Alzheimer's and mobility issues and the hours leading up to our shoot were a real struggle, almost resulting in us canceling. Kris came in with such genuine ease, grace, and care...particularly for a scorching hot day, where we were shooting outside. I was just happy to have had such a positive and fun experience, then I received the images. I was absolutely blown away, they were incredible and I am SO grateful. I think I've found our new family photographers!
What a wonderful photo experience, from start to finish! This was literally the least stressful and most beautiful family photo shoot we've ever done. Kris is a true artist, and her heart for capturing memories is present every step of the way. What a gift she has! Our entire family (and their personalities) was captured in her work - we are so grateful! Her husband was also an unexpected blessing, as he carried bags (and my youngest child) throughout the session. These two really helped us capture some incredible family photos. Thanks so much!
This was our first time taking pictures as a family. I thought it would be difficult since we have 4 children. But Krista made the entire experience fun and easy. I am super camera shy and I thought I would have many awkward photos. But to my surprise Krista seemed to capture all the right angles and moments. She really captured the true essence of our family. When I look at our photos I see us. I will love and cherish these photos for ever. Kris D Photography has 6 life long loyal customers. Krista and her husband Carrington are so so talented and exceeded our expectations for wedding photography. My hubby and I looked through the photos that were received after our wedding and there was NOT ONE photo that we did not absolutely love (and we can tend to be picky people). Krista and Carrington captured all moments and emotions of our wedding beautifully and gave so much life to a still photo in such a way that we did not regret going without a videographer. The staging, colors and quality of the photos were even impressive and would make any camera shy or non-photogenic person appear as a supermodel. During our wedding, my aunt did a pretty gnarly tackle for a bouquet and I was surprised that Krista and Carrington somehow had frame by frame shots from start to finish so that we could relive such an unexpected and hilarious moment. Not only are they incredibly talented in their work but they are such amazing and genuine people as well. They cared for us deeply as a couple and were even willing to answer all of our many questions regarding marriage. We are grateful to have met such an amazing couple and would recommend them time and time again!
Kris did such a fantastic job on our engagement photos that we had to book her for our December 17, 2022, wedding. She is the utmost professional and biggest hype man when it comes to making you feel like models. She handled her team with grace and was able to navigate the landscape of our venue with ease, even when guests tried to do her job by taking pictures with their phones. Literally every photo captured by her, and her team is perfection. We cried tears of joy reliving our wedding day while looking through the gallery of photos she delivered to us. Her turn-around time was quick especially since our wedding was the week before all the holiday festivities kicked off.
