This place is magical. It fills my whole soul with happiness. The Monday night jams are so much fun.
I went to R&B steak and Fries. I had been wanting to go there for a long time It did not disappoint The owner was so friendly and the cashier was very nice as well. The food was so delicious Will definitely be stopping again.
I was on Saturday at Kenny Dorham's Backyard enjoying an evening of live outdoor music as part of the International Grooves series. This time they had music from South America by Duo NorteSur and Hora Once. It was a great performace. Duo NorteSur plays a mixture of Latin-American, Andean, world and classical music. Hora Once plays Nuevo and Classical Tango, Latin folk music, and world music. At the end of the evening they played together and it was amazing.
It's a unique experience to listen to Jazz improvisation in a community area, the music is nothing but "enjoyment".
Delightful little music venue and hang out spot with of variety of food trucks.
